Disappointing - checked out early
Upon arrival I was greeted by a friendly staff member. Went up to my room and upon first impressions I was quite happy, however things went downhill from here. Above my room there was constant noise… either someone dropping things or who knows what. Found a gecko in the bathroom and wanted someone the get him out of the room… staff solution was bug spray.. not really what I wanted otherwise I would have let him be. Noise continued through the night with guests arriving at 3am… (I would advise reception to tell customers arriving late to try and be quiet). Unfortunately the following day the noise continued while I was trying to get some work done… I went to the reception to ask if there were any renovations going on… I was aware of building going on next door, however this was right above my room… staff didn’t seem to care, and just wrote it off as next door… and didn’t even want to come up and listen… a room change would have been the solution at this point… waited another 4 hours and it continued… past 5:30 (after construction next door had stopped) hence it wasn’t the building next door…I had to book another hotel and forfeit 1 night… they gave me a refund for 1 night (was staying 3 nights overall). So lost one night.. but couldn’t stand another night here. Reception was having a good laugh with her boss on the phone when checking if I could get a refund… not exactly good interpersonal skills…. Overall it’s probably ok for some… but not for me.

The Spring Hotel is in a very good location, 1 block away from VinCom Shopping Center. The front desk staff is very nice and helpful. The room looks like it need new paint.

We r given only one pillow which is not enough.
This is my second time of staying within three months, the first time I was allowed to check in early but not the second time. The service is good n the hotel is near to central within walking distance. The room is spacious as well as the king size bed, but the mattress is s bit hard.

The hotel is definitely value for money.
As I checked in early in the morning due to my early flight, the staff was so understanding that allowed me to check in early. The location is very near to the central where you can go to any of the famous places even within walking distance. The room is spacious and the bed is big. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Nice stay at Spring Hotel
Pleasant, slightly older hotel in a relaxed location close to district one and 15 minutes walk from the popular Ben Thanh market. Our "First Class" room was nicely equipped for our needs and the included breakfast was very good. Other local attractions are the Cathedral, Post Office, and Saigon Zoo and Botanical Gardens, all of which are within walking distance.

We had a great time at Spring hotel. The staff was OK, but we were surprised with the size of the room, and it was very comfortable and cleaned. I was worried because I read some people found bugs there, but our room was impeccable. The locations is amazing...we thought it was good but by the days we were there we realized the locations is just perfect. The breakfast was good, they always give you around 4 times of fruits and then you have a menu to choose omelettes, and other options. I would definitely stay there again.

Overall it is a good hotel with considering the price. Staff are helpful and friendly. Room is clean and tidy enough. I wished I could had enough amount of hot water for a bath though. Building and facilities can be renovated.

My favorite hotel in Ho Chi Minh City
The services are excellent. The bedsheets will be perfect if clean well or newer. Breafast is served with healthy food. Location is very safe. Overall is excellent.

Good hotel close to the main amenities
Despite 2 separate emails for an airport pick up we were not met so made our own way there. Sadly no welcoming drinks as with our other hotels and reception was rather curt. Our first room was a bit stuffy and humid because the aircon needed attention but on request we were moved to a bigger and better room. Excellent breakfast served in the spacious lobby.

there were what appeared to be bed bugs in the room. old and tired. breakfast staff rude. front desk staff polite. should have been a twin, I checked that also on check in, yet it wasn't. breakfast was nice. Located in Japan town.

Clean, spacious room. Close to airport with included shuttle and breakfast buffet. Bustling, busy neighborhood with many local food markets. Hotel had a gift shop. Only negative was that we were charged for extra pillows.

Like many hotels in Vietnam it is old and dated but a lot have interior upgrades. Sadly this one needs a serious makeover. I do not know when the carpets in the rooms were last cleaned. The room is small and my room 805 top floor had a view of mostly slum-like buildings. I could not get all the channels on my TV that were listed so I called to get help. The guy came up and realized I did not actually have a cable box in my room and he went away and brought one back and hooked it up. It was fine and then when I turned on the TV the next day the same problem but I had a cable box so this was different another guy came up and fiddled around for about 15 minutes; then it started working again. I asked him what he did to fix it and he said he did not know...it just happened. Also lost my wifi a couple of times. The first time I got the house cleaning staff outside my door on it. He was able to reset the modem and it worked. Later that day it stopped working again. I called the front desk and a guy came up but he could not reach to unplug the modem so he asked me to do it. OK fine but that worked only when we did that 3 times. When I asked him how to really fix it he told me to just keep unplugging the modem and restarting it. I told him it was not the guest's responsibility and he should fix it. Would not stay here again.

While the hotel rooms could use a freshening up, the value for money and location can't be beat. Also .... the bed in the standard queen room that we had was bigger than a standard King sized bed in North America.

This hotel is in a great central location close to most tourist attractions and nightlife. The hotel staff are very helpful and polite. Check in and out was quick and easy. Breakfast was ok but a bit small. Seems to have some cockroach issues but not a huge deal as its normal in southeast Asia.
