Most visitors start their trip by booking Vietnam hotels in Hanoi, the capital city that blends the history and chicness of old Asia with a new dynamic face. The city is quickly evolving, but you can still get a great sense of the Vietnamese identity in the tangled webs of streets. There is plenty to see in Hanoi, including the Parisian-inspired architecture in the French Quarter and Old Quarter, the wondrous Temple of Literature, and the Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh.

The city is very affordable compared to other major urban metropolises in Asia, and you can find many cheap hotel deals in Vietnam that offer rooms at reasonable rates. That same affordability also extends to restaurants, and you can feast on delectable dishes like pho, sizzling cha ca, crispy banh xeo, and garlicky rau muong for low prices at some of the top restaurants in the country.

Outside of Hanoi, some of the best hotels in Vietnam are located in Ho Chi Minh City, once known as Saigon. Today, it is the country's largest and most capitalist city, but it also played an essential role in the fight for independence. This importance is reflected in sites like the War Remnants Museum and Reunification Palace.

Book special Vietnam hotel deals in Ho Chi Minh City so that you have more to spend at the bustling Ben Thanh Market. Since the 17th century, the market has been the place to go for people watching and finding great deals on artisan crafts, textiles, and clothing. Don't be afraid to haggle – you may just get a special discount on the handmade wares.

Tourism is slowly growing in the highland town of Bac Ha, making it a great place to book a cheap Vietnam hotel deal and escape the tourist crowds that sometimes choke Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. Far calmer than the larger cities, Bac Ha is known for its weekend markets, outlandish Vua Meo palace, and traditional restaurants that serve up tall glasses of the local moonshine.

Find Vietnam hotel packages and make reservations at a hotel in the Mekong Delta to experience some of the most lush and charming environments in Vietnam. Quaint towns dot the riverbanks, floating markets wind down the waters, the local orchards drip with exotic fruits, and white-sand beaches and impressive Khmer pagodas are just a short drive away.

This hotel was extremely welcoming place from start to finish. We stayed 7 nights and enjoyed excellent food and service. The hotel situated in the center within walking distance of shopping areas and places of interest. On arrival we had a warm welcome, the pool area on the 10th floor was very relaxing. The hotel had a choice of various bars and restaurants to suit all needs, the staff treat you with respect and deference. Our room is in 404 and has No window but was not a problem with us, we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely go back to this hotel.

    Hotel Nikko Hanoi

84 Tran Nhan Tong Street, Hanoi - Map
"Nice for a Hanoi hotel, great breakfast buffet"
This hotel is a nicer one by Hanoi standards, but hardly lives up to the Nikko hotel reputation. Rooms, carpet and odors show signs of age. The staff do their job, but do not go above and beyond as do staff at other Nikko hotels. Late check out came at a high cost despite the hotel having availabilties, the bellboy became upset when not tipped (we hadn't yet exchanged currency), communication over the phone with the front desk was difficult at best. We will return to this hotel for the breakfast, however. Best I've had in Hanoi for that level of hotel. A lovely mix of Western, Japanese and Vietnamese options (it is not a mile long like Nikko HCMC, however).

    "Beach resort"
This is quite a stunning hotel! The porters and door staff are amazing! Some remembered your names. The staff at the pool resturant not so good. The spa staff were very hard to understand which made it hard to make bookings. The resturants are quite expensive for what you get and the cocktails are not good. The food in town alot lower in price and of much the same quality. Breakfast was good and busy but the resturants not busy at all. If they lowered the prices a little they would have more guests eat in as their resturants which looked lovely though lacking in atmosphere for the 1 night we ate in. 15% on top of everything for service charges was extreme. The rooms were lovely and the house keepers fantastic. The out side pool and beach areas were beautiful and relaxing. Do not use the ATM in hotel as the fees are the highest and the max amount available was the lowest in Hoi An.
