It was great to have a restaurant and bar on the premises The ataff were all friendly and very helpful The room & linen was ultra clean the towels lovely and fluffy Only thing that was hard for us was the stairs and no lift.

Great place for overnight stay in Hobart, went superior triple room and for the price, it was excellent. Fantastic menu in the pub as well.

We were very pleased with our accommodation we were able to have seperate bed rooms and a great kitchen these were important to us will stay again

The staff at the black buffalo are the best, so friendly and helpful, nothing was a problem, room was clean and spacious, have stayed in more expensive accommodation that wasn’t as good, will definitely be back ☺️

Home from home!
Certainly fulfilled my criteria of Clean, Comfortable and convenient! The staff was so friendly and helpful! Such a shame they didn’t do breakfast as the evening meals were excellent! I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay there again! 😉👍

Our room was old and dated. Shower over old bath which had hair in it. We have stayed in renovated rooms before which are ok. Sorry but won’t be going back. Restaurant used to be packed but after eating there I can understand why it wasn’t.

Hi there,Sorry about your experience.The rooms are slightly older and this is why we keep the price below other rooms and hotel rates.Did you speak to anyone in regards to the hair found as we could have fixed the problem immediately.Winter is usually a quite time, Did you dine in the restuarant if so was there a problem with the meal you had.Thankyou for your feedback and i ahve passed on the appropriate staff.

Hi John,We do have Hairdryers on request with all staff as we have had multiple hairdryers stolen in the last months and we have had to take the remainder out of the rooms.

I liked the friendliness of the staff but I was in room 3 which had a noisy bathroom exhaust fan that had no switch to control it. Even with the bathroom door closed it was noisy. The room, however, was clean and comfortable.
