Come Relax in the Country

Just a short drive from Charleston or Columbia is a relaxing little cottage just waiting for you. Looking for a mini vacation but don’t want to drive for hours? Get out of the traffic of I-95 and enjoy the slow pace as well, or if you are coming in for a family reunion, wedding or any other reason, we’ve got just what you need. Our Little Red Cottage has two bedrooms, one bath and is fully stocked with all your needs. Plush bedding, full size kitchen and lots of little extras to make you want to stay even longer. Watch the deer cross the horse pasture daily from the kitchen window or sit on the front porch and enjoy it all. The front yard is fully fenced and the cottage is pet friendly, so you are welcome to bring your fur babies with you. We have over 180 acres of planted pines and trails, so just let us know if you want to get out and walk the trails. Book your stay soon!

Exceeded expectations!!
While this location isn’t for everyone, I was so happy with it! We stayed here for a bee keeping class in Holly Hill. Property owner was so nice, the home was very clean, and we were able to bring our 2 dogs! The fenced in front yard was my favorite! I was also really happy with how well stocked it was- tin foil, good pots/pans, comfortable bed, waters & drinks, fans in every room, plenty of dishes, and the water pressure in the shower was fantastic. I also felt safe here. Perfect little getaway in the country!

A Charming Delight
My husband and I stayed at the cottage with our dog while on a trip to Florida. After a grueling day of driving, it was such a pleasure to arrive at this quaint farm cottage. It was immaculate, very well appointed with comfortable bedding, ceiling fans, lush fluffy towels and so much more. The yard was fenced in so our little dog could stretch his legs after a long drive. The fact that the cottage was on a farm with horses just added to the experience of pastoral charm. We will definitely stay here again when traveling I-95 through Soith Carolina. Thank you. Kay, for a lovely stay!!

Couldn't be more perfect!
My wife and I were traveling with our two dogs on a drive from PA to FL. We were looking for a place to stay over around the halfway point for the trip down and back. To say we loved everything about this place would be an understatement. The town is perfect, the home is perfect and the owner was absolutely wonderful! It normally takes our dogs a few days to settle into places when we travel. It seemed like it only took minutes here. They loved playing in the fenced in yard and immediately acted like the dog bed in the house was their own. The cottage has everything you'll need. The open layout was a great use of space and the furnishings in every room are well appointed. The front porch was a great place to relax and listed to nothing, as the whole property is quiet and peaceful. The coffee pods were great for the morning drive. We saw plenty of deer and loved seeing the horses outside. Kay was an outstanding host with great communication. We only wished we had more time to stay. We won't be looking any where else when we make the drive again. Kay, thank you for everything! Hope to see you again soon.

We had a wonderful stay at Kay's cute little cottage! SUPER clean, nicely decorated, well stocked. Beds were amazing. The fenced in yard was quite a bonus as were the horses in the adjacent pasture. We would definitely stay here again!

Unexpectedly amazing!
This cute little house was perfect for the 2 of us. We were just passing through and decided to venture out and skip the hotels along the interstate. I am so glad we did! The owner has this place stocked with all the necessities, its really clean and beautifully appointed. They did a very nice job. Watching the horses graze in the pasture out the window was nice touch as well :) Thank you so much for the great stay. I will book again on my next trip and pass the listing along to my friends.

Home away from Home
Our stay was nothing short of perfect. We stopped here on our big move from the south to the north. After driving all day, we arrived to a super clean and cozy place to rest! Our dog absolutely loved the yard and property. The fenced in yard allowed for her to roam free and play fetch. They even had some balls lying around for her to play with. The beds were very comfortable. The house was also cat friendly, our feline friend was safe and sound. In the morning, we were able to have coffee and sit on the porch. The kitchen is stocked with every possible thing you could need, it was so thoughtful. We took a morning stroll and pet the horses and met the humble owner, Kay. She was so warm and welcoming, we honestly want to plan a trip to come back to this slice of heaven!

Cutest cottage, perfect stay right off 95
We stayed here on our way to Florida and on our way back. The cottage is a close 10 min drive to 95. Kay was extremely helpful and over the top! She had all the lights on and the heat turned up, as we arrived late at night. There are so many little details, everything is pristine and it even smells amazing as you enter. The beds are extremely comfortable, our kids loved running throughout the rooms. Kay’s communication was also extremely fast! We would absolutely love to stay here again!!

Great getaway
The whole process was easy. The place is so cute and clean. A friend and i went with my dog to get away for a long weekend. The kitchen has everything you would need to cook meals. I would bring spices you need but that was not an issue, just a FYI. ,Kay was very helpful and responded quick. My dog is very fearful of other dogs and she made sure her dogs would not come around. She led me to the trails nearby and let us know when the deer were close. This was a perfect location to get away and relax.

We are traveling to FL with our 2 dogs. Kay and Fred were great hosts. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs. We had a glass of wine on the porch and watched the sunset. House was so clean and comfortable. Will visit again.

Cottage was just as it was described. It was cute and charming. The owner left the lights on for us since we were arriving after dark. The cottage was stocked with things like coffee, creamer, and bottled water which was greatly appreciated. We wish we had been there for more than two days to explore the trails on the property. I would definitely stay there again.

This review needs 10 stars! If I was a Snowbird I would live here in the winter. Located in a cute "Mayberry" town with everything you need. Close to National Parks, State Parks and the Ocean is an hour away. The view from the cottage is horses and pasture. It also has a picket fence that was perfect for the dogs to run around. Compliments to the decorator because the inside is beautiful. I found the whole experience very relaxing. The pictures do not do it justice. P.S. Super close to 95 and 26 if you need a stopover while traveling.
