Amazing space and great views
Wonderful views and lots of downstairs space for 4 people. Didn’t get much use of the hot tub as children not allowed to use it. The kids loved feeding the peacock every morning. Very spacious kitchen, dining room, living room and seperate seating area.

The perfect getaway, would visit again!
Stayed for 3 nights at the cottage with my boyfriend. The owner Jane was very friendly and helped us find the way there and welcomed us when we arrived. We enjoyed the hot tub at night times. The different lighting in the tub was amazing at dark. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything you needed and the living room was cosy. The peacock in the garden was also a nice touch. We had a very relaxing time and we will definitely be returning. It was a holiday I didn’t want to end.

Fantastic well needed break
This is a lovely cottage with everything you could ever need. The highlight for us was the hot tub which we used on all 3 days. The bed very comfortable which helped with our relaxing break. We didn't really do much in local area just went out in the mornings and had some lunches nearby as we wanted to get back and chill in the bubbles. Jayne was very informative and not intrusive even though she is right next door. I would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to get away from hectic life and we intend on visiting again next year

Had a lovely stay, pictures don't do it justice, low beams in bedrooms can be a hassle when you forget, place is not far from A55 plus the host was very helpful, the kids loved feeding the peacock. We would stay again

Perfect relaxing break
This is a beautiful spacious cottage with stunning views and it is so well equipped you have everything you could possibly need. There is a lovely view of the farm animals from the cottage and the location is so peaceful and relaxing. The outside area is lovely with a seating area hot tub and BBQ (even though the rain stopped us from using the BBQ) . The host Jane was so friendly and gave us information about the cottage and surrounding area. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for May bank holiday 2021 weekend. Our children aged 3 and 18 months absolutely loved the farm. There was a peacock on site plus sheep and horses. My little girl kept looking out the window singing baa baa black sheep which was lovely. Property was clean and had everything you needed. My only con would be we had to wait until the children where asleep to use the hot tub as they aren’t allowed in it therefore we struggled to get much use out of it before the 11 o’clock hot tub curfew as kids didn’t sleep till about 9:30 because it’s a new place. Would definitely stay again. 5*

Absolutely loved our stay here! The house is so well equipped, we weren’t short of anything. Everything in the house looks of great quality. We were impressed with the smart tv! The bed is super comfy and we loved the shower.... everything was perfectly clean and shiny. The towels are so white and fluffy. The dressing gowns for the hot tub were a nice bonus, the hot tub was lovely! Our only disappointment was that we weren’t told in advance that we could only use the hot tub for one hour per day.....

Lovely quiet location. Cottage is very spacious and suitable for all ages. Restaurants not far away.
Everything was very good. Jane is very nice and accommodating. CV19 caused issues but it didn't stop us from having a lovely weekend.

We've just returned from a four night stay at the property. The house is stunning and extremely spacious. Jane came to see us to check we were happy with everything and answered any questions. Our girls loved the cottage and the grounds especially seeing the horses from their window and the peacock each day. Jane also let them see the horses up close in the stable which made their day. Overall we had a great time at the cottage and had some lovely day trips in the area. We would definitely recommend the property and would love to visit again in the future.

Gorgeous Property
Stayed at the house once COVID restrictions lifted - We went for our First Wedding Anniversary. The property is beautiful, spacious and has a very well equipped kitchen. It was so peaceful to be surrounded by fields and the hot tub was clean and relaxing. There are some lovely countryside walks around but it's also well situated for a trip into Holywell or to the beach. Jane made sure everything was clean and safe for us. We had a fabulous time!

Beautiful little cottage in a lovely area
This cottage was beautiful and so spacious and we loved every minute of our stay. Jane was very helpful and always available via text message should we have any questions. Unfortunately Storm Ciara prevented us from using the hot tub, but with such a large bath we had a suitable replacement. Daily visits by Cats and the Peacock really added to the feel. Overall we really liked this place and have already said that we will return again.

We stayed at the cottage for the weekend when we arrived Jane was there to give us the key and information we needed, the cottage is absolutely gorgeous, its nice and big with everything you need there even a few toys for the kids.we couldn’t fault the cottage in anyway the hot tubs fantastic and the kids loved feeding the peacock in the morning.we would definitely return.

Literally, A hidden gem !
What a surprise! A very pleasant one. The Old Threshing barn is difficult to visualise from the description and pictures. Our previous experience of accommodation on HomeAway has been with lodges. This is something completely different. We entered the property directly into a farmhouse kitchen which is extremely well equipped with everything you would need and more. Next to this we found a lovely traditional dining room with lovely furnishings. Then on to the lounge, also beautifully furnished complete with widescreen TV. Add to this a lovely conservatory , huge family bathroom and utility room all on the ground floor plus two very characterful spacious bedrooms on the first floor. What a property! The hot tub on the decking out front was the icing on the cake. Jane, the owner was on hand to give us a tour of the place and provided information on places to visit. All in all, a great experience - one to reccommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. Great location just 5 minutes from A55. Very spacious and quiet. Had a lovely pub meal in nearby village Caerwys. Fabulous having the hot tub available. Would definitely recommend this cottage.
