United Kingdom Hotel & Resort Travel Guide

The United Kingdom offers an enormous variety of things to do and see. Combining rail or bus passes with cheap hotel deals in the United Kingdom can save money. Hotels in the United Kingdom range from luxury chains to quaint historic properties and simple budget options, and a special discount may be available for traveling in the off-season.

Visitors to Scotland will want to explore the historic city of Edinburgh with its medieval Old Town and 18th-century New Town. To the north, the Scottish Highlands offer stunning scenery to visitors. Off the northern coast lie a number of remote islands notable for their stark beauty.

Lovers of nature won’t want to miss the largest national park in England, the Lake District. The southern part of England includes the wild moors and coastlines of Devon and Cornwall as well as the beaches of resort towns.

A cheap United Kingdom hotel deal will make it possible to stay longer in the capital city of London where visitors can see such iconic sights as Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London, and Big Ben. Throughout the United Kingdom, public museums are free, and London's National Gallery and the British Museum are among those worth a visit.

Notable parts of Wales include the capital city of Cardiff, the well-preserved medieval town of Conwy, and Hay-on-Wye, which is famous for its dozens of bookstores and yearly literary festival. Snowdonia National Park is a beautiful and popular destination for outdoors enthusiasts. Ferries from both Wales and Scotland will take visitors across the Irish Sea to Northern Ireland.

Northern Ireland has largely put the troubles behind it, and today, Belfast offers a number of tours that focus on the city’s turbulent history. The Titanic Experience, site of the luxury site's doomed launch, offers visitors a number of interactive experiences. North of Belfast, the Giant's Causeway looks like an alien landscape, and legend claims its unusual basalt columns were created by the Irish giant Finn MacCool.

United Kingdom hotel deals will stretch the travel dollars further, and some United Kingdom hotel packages may include perks such as restaurants or theater tickets. Much of the region enjoys a fairly mild climate year round, and traveling during the winter may mean lower prices in United Kingdom hotels. To find top savings and the best rates, search for rooms and book reservations as early as possible.

Great located hotel close to Leicester sq / Covent Garden / picadilli circus. Nice comfy clean room. Peaceful considering the centre location. Second stay here for us. Only criticism is breakfast is over priced. We ate outside in a cafe instead.1st time we stayed cost nearly £45 for two of us !!! .

"Nice Hotel Close to the Airport"
I really had a great time at the Hotel and was a great experience and had excellent facilities for the whole family. The Staff are very friendly and helpful. They have excellent customer service and communication skills. The rooms are great as well and very clean and provide excellent facilitates such as TV, DVD Player which is great for the kids and for the whole family so that you are able to watch your favourite films and keep yourself entertained. The shower is excellent and powerful. There is a also TV in the Bathroom as well, which was a nice luxury. The food is great as well and the breakfast was excellent as well as there is a lot of varieties to choose from. Overall had a great experience and would recommend to everyone and if I had an opportunity would stay there again.

    "Perfect location"
Fraser Suites is the ideal location to access the Royal Mile. The staff was very accommodating. The hotel does not have parking which during the Fringe Festival proved very challenging. Train station is close however with a large car park. Breakfast is not included which is a minus. The room was very comfortable with a large modern bath. Very handsome hotel . Value for the price.

"Nice hotel in the centre of town."
Quite a small room for an executive. It was comfortable though and clean. We got room service the night we stayed but it was disappointing. We ordered two adult meals and one children's. They arrived at the door and forgot one of the adult meals. the kids meal was supposed to have chunky chips which would have been perfect but instead we got skinny French fries. Lastly I ordered fish and chips, the fish was very oily/greasy and poor in quality. Over all the hotel was lovely but the meal was disappointing for the amount it cost. 😞
