BlueBird Nest 2.0, hot tub! Sibley double bell on huge deck!covered kitchen/bath

Small cabin with bathroom and kitchen and a Sibley Double Bell tent.

Private spot this is not your normal RV park ;). We love to see pets join the vacation. If you are bringing more than 1 pet, please contact first before booking. The pet fee is for 1 pet.

A beautiful hide-a-way in the trees. Water is provided for showers (hot), dishes etc. Check out evanscliff dot com for our properties.

We added a Hot Tub on the deck!

King size bed inside and a swing/hanging bed on the deck from the trees!

Grill with side burner, frig, linens, towels, dishes, pans, etc... Coffee pot is a Keurig / drip combo pot.

Enjoy everything from beautiful sunrises to amazing sunsets.

Non-Smoking in the tent.

A magical mini-moon
This place has it all. The huge deck with endless entertainment possibilities was our favorite! We happened to stay during really chilly, rainy weather, and we stayed dry in the tent. The hosts brought us up a heater and made sure the hot tub kicked back up to temp (after a power outage the night of our arrival). The bed was VERY comfortable and amenities just what we needed. It is simply dreamy. We can’t wait to come back!

Needed Getaway
Until recently I never even heard of glamping. And I wasn’t sure how to find a place to bring my wife to a much needed getaway. Now, I/we are so glad that we found this property. It was just what we needed. Beautiful location, you will not be disappointed if you stay here, it was truly amazing!

Glamping at its best!
This was a perfect stay for us. Very quiet and beautiful. The place was perfect. We had deer and turkey visit us which was a treat to see. We had everything we needed as far as cooking, fridge w/freezer and coffee maker. Love the hot tub and outdoor living space with the fire table, very comfortable. They even provided a heater on request, which we did use as the nights got a little chilly. If we ever come back to this area, will absolutely make another reservation.

Amazing Glamping Experience
We absolutely loved staying here! Wade and Patricia have done such a wonderful job creating these sites around their property. If you love to camp but don't love the setup process this is perfect for you. It has a shower and toilet so its really glamping at its finest. We loved the king size bed and hot tub. Also the spacious deck to hang out on and have a cup of coffee on in the calm mornings. Could not recommend this place enough!!

Blue bird nest was absolutely awesome!! The deck and accommodations were exactly as advertised (actually better than advertised) and very clean and comfortable. We weren’t sure what to expect with the tent accommodations but the bed was super comfortable and everything was very quiet and peaceful!! I highly recommend using this as a “home base” to explore all that South Dakota has to offer.

Romantic Stay
The birds nest is a romantic stay. We came for our anniversary and the host provided us with a bottle of wine! When we checked in, the hot tub was not holding its temp. When we reached out to the property owners regarding how to fix this, we did not hear back until 3 days later, the day we were checking out. This property is at a camp resort with multiple other campers fairly nearby, not as secluded as it may seem. We did enjoy our stay, and it is a beautiful property with great views.

Top Tier Glamping
If you are looking for a great tiny home out in the black hills, this is the one. Patricia and Wade were excellent hosts and the place was clean and ready when we arrived. The drive up to the place from downtown hot springs was gorgeous. The location was perfect and allowed us to have easy commutes to all the fun destinations in western South Dakota.

Perfect getaway
Stayed for two nights and, even though it was only the beginning of a road trip, I was sad to leave. After a day of exploring parks there's no better way to relax, whether you read in the hanging daybed, have a drink in the hot tub, or lay on the very comfy mattress and watch tv. (I never even got to the last one but I'm sure I would've been happy to have it in bad weather.) The hosts have been thoughtful and generous in laying this rental out. In fact I'll note--not to deter anyone but to help plan--that it's so comfortable you just may forget you're sleeping in a tent. If so the overnight drop in temperature will remind you. Pack pjs a little warmer than you'd wear at home the same time of year. There are extra blankets on furniture all over the deck, and even a space heater inside should you need. With better pjs and an extra blanket the second night, I slept like an angel. Would return here on the slightest excuse :)
