Pleasant house in nice area
This is a lovely little house in a peaceful area, it is well kept, clean and has all you need. The owner is very easy to communicate with and quick to reply to messages. This is the second time we have stayed here and would happily visit again

Poor communication and extra charges
We had an issue with not being able to connect to the WiFi, as the manager spoke no English we didn't bother with it and just used our own data. unfortunately after we left we have been charged for breaking/disconnecting the hub An email from the owner said we broke it the night we arrived even gave us the time it stopped working but he never informed us of the fault untill after I queried the charge. I don't mind paying for something I broke but unfortunately this feels Iike a set up This was a great place to stay but you need to speak a little french to stay here to avoid unpleasant surprises

Nice house in good location
Nice clean house in a lovely quiet location. Everything you would need on a holiday and a short walk into town of Houlgate, which is lovely. The owner and lady that look after the house were very helpful to us. We would visit again

Kleines Ferienhaus nahe Zentrum und Meer
Houlgate ist eine schöne Stadt am Meer. Zentrum und Meer sind fußläufig erreichbar. Das Objekt liegt in einer sehr gepflegten Anlage, deren Pflege nicht ohne Geräuschkulisse stattfindet. Die Verwalterin des Hauses vor Ort ist ganz besonders freundlich und herzlich und gibt einem sofort ein heimisches Gefühl.

Nous avons ete surpris de trouver refrigerateur congelateur et machine a laver dans un cabanon de jardin plus que poussiereux. Le frigo pas nettoyé nous balancait un relent de poisson. Inutile de dire que nous ne l avons pas utilisé. Pas plus d ailleurs que le lave linge. Dans la cuisine nous avons dû laver la vaisselle avant utilisation la premiere boite conservation etant plutot grasse... le parasol du jatdin alors que nous etions a table, s'est subitement,

Sehr gute Wahl für Familien zu fünft
Das Haus ist klein, aber durch drei Schlafzimmer sehr gut für uns geeignet. Als Familie mit drei Kindern findet man alles, was man braucht. Sehr sauber und ruhig, in einem Ferienhaus-Park direkt an der Ortsgrenzen, großer Garten zum spielen. Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Sogar mit Waschmaschine und großer Wäscheleine. Die Schlafzimmer haben viel Charme, aber das Zimmer mit dem Etagenbett ist wirklich nur für zwei jüngere Kinder passend.

La location est idéalement placée pour couvrir les centres d intérêt de la côte. Le centre ville d Houlgate est très plaisant et les commerces de proximité nombreux. Le gîte est situé dans un quartier résidentiel calme. Belle terrasse et coin pelouse intéressant. Attention toutefois aux personnes à mobilité réduite : location sur 3 niveaux (demi palier). Vous fier à l'annonce qui correspond bien à la réalité des lieux.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la maison de Mr Garbe. La maison est très propre, située dans un petit lotissement à l'écart et au calme et proche de toutes les commodités.

Une petite déception....
Un seul point négatif sur cette réservation. Celle-ci est proposée pour 6 adultes. Il y a deux chambres correctes plus deux lits superposés qui se trouvent dans une petite pièce où il n'est même pas possible de ranger ses affaires. Cela peut aller pour deux enfants mais pas pour deux adultes. Il ne faut pas être claustrophobe.... Il y a bien un canapé lit au RDC mais inutilisable en tant que tel car une chaîne et un cadenas sont installés condamnant son utilisation. J'ai appelé le propriétaire qui m'a dit ne rien pouvoir faire..... Pas très cool

Arrivée simple, accès facile à la propriété. Le cottage nous attendait avec tout le confort pour devenir un vrai nid douillet pour le wend de Noël 2022.
