Quick stay
Family and I stayed prior to going on cruise. The location of the house is close to a lot of things even within walking distance so we found it convenient. The house was well kept and clean and Steven was convenient and helpful in assisting us with checking in. The beach was nice and walking there and back to the house for lunch made it worth the while.

Charming Home
Charming family home within walking distance of the beach and amenities. There were a number of maintenance issues that were direct contractions to the online listing that could easily be fixed. This home is in a very quiet neighborhood - perfect for families. Thank you for sharing your home.

The property was great for our party in that there was a private bedroom and bath that was ideal for our traveling companion. The house itself was spacious and comfortable with a screened-in porch that was perfect for morning coffee and afternoon relaxation. My wife and I would use it again without hesitation.

Very nice house and convenient location
The house is in a quiet neighborhood and very well kept. I only stayed one night on my way to Atlanta from Pompano Beach but would definitely stay a whole week on a family vacation. Steven was great as well. He was very responsive.

Could hear the surf crashing from the yard!!
I was in town to visit family with my Mom & Sister. House was a nice layout. Kitchen was fully stocked with pretty much everything you could want. Cooked a pasta dinner for my grandmother one evening. Tons of beach toys and supplies, chairs, umbrella, even a beach buggy to push on the sand with all your stuff. Too chilly to go to the beach when we stayed, so we did not use them. If you’re into Starbucks coffee it’s a very short walk to get to it, almost visible from the driveway!! Neighborhood seemed quiet and just locals. One night things got kinda loud outside - turned out the space shuttle was launching and people were cheering it on after 3 delays. They sent up “crew 8” to the space station. You could see the shuttle from the house. Better view would have been the driveway. Now I know! Outside patio was lovely. Needs some new cushions, as they have been well loved and not very comfortable. I also wish it had some twinkle lights or a propane fire table!! I wish we could have has time to sit and play cards on the porch one night. I would stay again, bring back my husband, and some friends. Plenty of room.

We just had a 1 night stay before boarding a cruise but it was great for everyone to meet at one house, plenty of beds for everyone, easy walk to the beach, restaurants & Walmart. Was very clean and had everything we needed. Had a nice porch area that gave us space to sit and chat.

Good House with nice location
We were very happy with this home close to the beach. The beach is about a 10 minute walk away across A1A via a lit crosswalk (very important - it's a busy road). The garage was loaded with almost anything you might want at the beach - chairs, toys, boogie boards and towels. Unfortunately, it was pretty chill when we were there so we mostly walked on the beach. The house was clean and comfortable with places to relax inside and on the screened in porch. The neighborhood is quiet and it's hard to believe you're so close to major roads and shopping. There are adult and kids bikes available in the garage and you can walk or ride through a large neighborhood of connected streets, even going over to parks on the river side. Check-in was a breeze and the property managers were very responsive to questions. Highly recommended!

We came for a family emergency & the house was a good fit for us with multiple generations needing a space to sleep. The nice addition was being near the beach & having sand toys for the kids to play with as well as folding chairs & a beach umbrella. The owner was easy to reach & helped us whenever we needed it.

Great stay!
This property is super close to a lot of things you could want or need, including the beach, stores, restaurants, and an urgent care. The house is deceptively large, fitting our family of 8 people with ease. It was a wonderful touch that there were bicycles available as well, though we found it much too hot to use them. In unit washer/dryer was very convenient, and central air kept us very comfortable. This was so much better than a hotel stay for our siblings and assorted spouses for the week long stay.

Had a great time and house was laid out great! Our host Steven and Hannah were very responsive to any questions I had. The house is central to the beach, market, gas stations, stores and even an ice cream shop! Also got to see two launches from the nearby beach! It had all the kitchen appliances you would need. Great location. About 30-40 minutes from the Kennedy Space Center. You need to be a rocket scientist to figure out the twenty remote controls for the TV, ha, ha, ha. They have beach stuff and bikes if you need them. Very nice! Beach is literally 30 seconds away by car. 5 minutes on foot. Nice bedrooms and bathrooms.

Great location modest home
We loved staying here. It was as described, great location and convenient. I wrote modest because it is an older home but the furnishings are good. Twin beds would be great for children but not as comfy for an adult - sm mattress, no box springs. It was very easy to come and go- easy lock to navigate, safe neighborhood. Overall 5 stars for the price and location.

Host lives in another state and has no local contacts if things go wrong!
This is a nice clean house with a good location, but the heat did not work at all for our entire stay. We arrived at 8pm and unloaded the car before we realized the thermostat was not working. After checking breakers, we finally concluded it had dead batteries. We took batteries out of the television remote and put them in the thermostat, but that did not solve the problem. Still no heat. I reached out to the host. He asked us to check breakers, so we did once more, but none were tripped and the heat never came on. I reported this to the host who said he would call someone to come out in the morning. The next day, we left the property early to spend the day at Kennedy Space Center. At 12:25 I got a text from the host on my cell phone saying that I never got back to him last night and did we get the heat to work, although I clearly told him the night before that we had no heat and he had said that he would call someone in the morning. Later that evening, he had decided to ask us to check the gas shut-off, but we never saw the message as it was late and everyone was tired. He wanted to have a phone conversation about the situation with the heat, so I called him. It was then, in the middle of day 2 of our stay, during the phone conversation with him that I found out not only does he live in a different state, but also the parents listed in the information about the home had moved to a different state. Also, the neighbors who help out with the home have passed away. So there are no local contacts if anything goes wrong! He wanted my permission to allow access to the house while we were not there, but I could not allow that as a work laptop with sensitive information had been left there, but I told him we could be there after 7pm. We had spent a lot of money to spend the day at KSS, and were not going to leave early. Around 2pm, he texted again to say that he had called 5 different HVAC companies and all were booked until the day we were supposed to leave. "I'm very sorry this happened during your stay." No other solution or compensation of any kind was offered; just "the weather is heating back up." This leads me to believe that he does not have a working relationship with one company that does at least an annual check and will prioritize you when something goes wrong. Our stay was not comfortable although we spent a lot of time boiling water on the stove trying to make it that way!

We have very little control when the heating or A/C decides to go out during a guests stay. I tried multiple times to get ahold of her to schedule when the can come out to check on the issue. The guest would not communicate with me so finally when she responded, the soonest the heating and air people could come out was when the guest was scheduled to check out 2 days later. The temperatures were in the 60s-70's during their stay in Florida, yet they were "very uncomfortable". Boiling water on the stove to produce heat is not the brightest thing to do regardless. The guest should of been named Karen or Nancy.

We were pleasantly surprise to see how clean and comfortable this place was. Everything we needed was there . A big plus being walking distance to the beach,restaurants and shopping. The granddaughters were so excited to see a closet full of games and toys. Definitely a place I would come back to. A big thank you to the host Stephen. Great Location!
We enjoyed our stay at this spacious home. It was a 10–15-minute walk to a beautiful beach. There are also two county picnic areas/parks with facilities and free parking at the nearby beach. Beach chairs and toys, etc., were available in the garage. The beds were comfortable and the living area was as well. It is located near shops, restaurants and grocery stores. Very convenient! We will definitely stay here again.

Stay Anywhere But Here
Last minute booking. Booked on Sun PM for Mon-Fri. Got 'immediate confirmation' and cc was charged. Received message from owner (Steven) an hour later that house is booked the day we depart, and he can't get a cleaner between us leaving and new tenant. Said he will keep trying but if doesn't find one, will cancel our reservations. Spoke to him next morning (had to check out of hotel soon) and still no cleaner. Told him I would look for another place. Told me that though he could cancel me, I could not cancel on him. He has my money and was kept hostage for over 12 hours while he tried to find cleaner. He found cleaner for our end of stay by late morning. Said house ready to go as no one has been there in a while and let us go early since nowhere to go. Got to house and it was filthy. All beds slept in, garbage all over, bathrooms dirty, etc. Called owner who apologized and said would get a cleaner there asap. Person from neighborhood walked over about an hour later. No way house could be cleaned and sanitized by one person with whatever sponge they found in the house, especially after sitting in that condition for a while. Expected a professional service to come in for a few hours and clean it right. We had children (immune compromised) with us and at least expected some level of cleanliness. Told owner we were not comfortable staying, would pay one night for any inconvenience, though the house was literally 'off the market' for only 4-hours (from 11AM-3PM). Not surprisingly, said he wouldn't return any money and changed the lock code. Whether we had showed up at 1PM, 4PM, or 8PM, the house still would not have been cleaned because he did not know the cleaner never came. Whether we got access at 1, 4, or 8, guests have the right to expect a clean and sanitized home, and not one that requires a strong cleaning and sanitization. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. Even if clean, the house has aged substantially since the pictures were posted.

The guest wrote this negative review because he decided to cancel his reservation last minute on the day of check in and I would not give him a full refund. He never got access to the house to even see the condition or cleanliness but had to make up something to justify his 1 star review. As you can tell from our 100+ five star reviews we have, this was just an upset childish guest who didnt get their way in the end. Thanks for booking our house Kevin but please dont try that stunt on other hosts because they will not allow you to get away with it either!

Overnight stay before cruising
We opted for a VRBO instead of a hotel for the 6 of us before our cruise. Much more convenient & less expensive than a hotel. House was just right for the 6 of us. The house is nice & spacious. All amenities provided including bikes that my daughter rode to see the beach. I would definitely stay here again. Maybe put a warning on the bidet that it shoots across the room. Don’t ask me how I know this!! 🤣

Amazing Thanksgiving Getaway
This property is very clean, the owner was proactively responsive to questions. Both teenage children had their own rooms (something that isn't usually possible at a hotel). We had nearly everything stocked for a Thanksgiving dinner with our son from F.I.T. We gifted a potato masher to the property, and could have used a Turkey thermometer (HaHa), but who usually goes to the beach to roast a turkey? Thank you! We hope to use this property for future visits.
