Chalet with Year around Lake & Mountain Views in Big Canoe

Nice and quiet, with miles of hiking trails. This chalet has GREAT views of Lake Petit and the Mountains. It is about as romantic and you can get! Wake up in the morning to the sun rising over Lake Petit. Completely renovated chalet. New everything and very nice. It is a one bedroom with one bath. The bedroom has a king bed and the couch in the living room is a sleeper that opens up to a queen bed (great for a child)! Bathroom has a new walk in shower. The kitchen is fully furnished as is the chalet. Just bring the food and wine and your set. The living room has a 54 inch Smart TV which is hooked up to a streaming device if you have Netflix or something like that. There is a 32 inch TV in the bedroom. This chalet is perfect for a couple wanting a relaxing getaway. The deck has a table that seats four and overlooks Lake Petit and the mountains.

This cabin sleeps two adults and one or two children, depending on age.

great short stay
the overall ambience of the cabin and scenery was awesome. upon first entering, it smelled as it has been closed up for a while. However, nothing a can of air fresher and leaving door open to air out; couldn't fix. We had problems with grill, it would not light up, it also was leaking around the connection and has a lot of rust. my suggestion grill needs replacing before next guests arrives. Nonetheless, we greatly enjoyed our stay.

A Soothing Break from the World
Thank you for sharing your beautiful Treetopper cabin. It was the perfect place to sooth my soul after loosing my partner of 5 years. It had everything I needed and the views of the mountains and lake are unrivaled. So sorry I forgot to take out the trash. I plan a return visit in the future.

Perfect solo getaway
This place was cute and cozy perfect for my solo vacation before the retail holiday life begins. Everything is just as described and pictured. The Big Canoe community is bigger than i thought but i felt safe as you have to show ID to confirm reservation at the gate to get your pass for your time of stay. I felt like i was in the treetops where this was located which is exactly what i wanted away from the busy world. I got to enjoy the view of the lake and sunrise everyday while i sat on the deck reading and journaling. I will definitely book here again and have recommended it to others already.

It felt as if we were staying in a treehouse with a magnificent view. Big Canoe is an amazing community with trails, lakes, tennis and golf and a phenomenal recreation center. The house is small but very comfortable for my husband and I. Highly recommended.

Big Canoe
The property was perfect for our weekend getaway to Big Canoe. My husband and I were attending a wedding in the area, and we didn’t need something huge since it was just the two of us. This place fit the bill. Small but not cramped. Clean, all the necessary items were available. Beautiful view of mountains and lake. We enjoyed fishing, boating, and hiking. We would definitely recommend to friends and family! Directions to the trash facility for checkout purposes would be a good addition to the unit.

Awesome View!
The treehouse was beautiful! Bed was super comfy and I need to know where y’all got those sheets. Big Canoe is a great place. We took advantage of the trails and the beach club which was wonderful. We did a few things around the area too which were all about 30 mins away at max. Overall nice property and very quiet and relaxing. We loved our stay and my nana will be raving about it for a while!

One Word- Amazing
We absolutely loved our stay here. The property was incredibly well appointed and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was great (wasn’t sure it would be with the wooded location). I am NOT a morning person- but we left the curtains wide open and waking to that amazing view made me enjoy waking. I will say to try to get there during daylight hours- we drove from NY, it was raining and dark when we arrived which made the drive in a little nerve-wracking, but the rest of the trip was sunny and dry and easily navigated. Downtown Jasper was a cute area - we had breakfast at the Old Mulehouse and it was fantastic- great menu options, friendly staff, clean, inside and outside were beautiful and could see that being a fav spot if we lived in the area. All in all - a wonderful trip and we would certainly stay there again!

Mountain Paradise
My absolute favorite vacation EVER! This property truly is a mountain dream. Hosts respond immediately to all inquiries and are accommodating and considerate- they definitely go out of their way to make certain that your stay is stress free and comfortable. The community offers endless activities including golf, boating, hiking, restaurants, racquet ball, a fitness club, a chapel, scenic views (just to name a few). You can stay here a week and never leave the property! This is also the cleanest property we’ve ever visited. We will be back (annually I hope)! Many thanks to the hosts for making our 25th anniversary so memorable!

Fantastic location
Our Treetop cabin was quaint, clean and quiet. A wonderful break from the fast track life we left behind for a week. If you're a late sleeper, make it a point at least one time to watch the sunrise as it peaks over the mountains. Worth the early rise. The homeowner lives in the community and was available when we had questions and even stopped by to check to see if we needed anything. (Note: the upscale restaurants in the immediate area required reservations and they fill up quickly. Suggest you make reservations long before your visit. We found a great little Mexican restaurant nearby and ate there thee times during our week's stay.)

The perfect retreat for an aesthetics-invested introvert
I visited this rental for a solo, weekend retreat. The home was beautifully furnished, very tidy, and had everything I could need for a restful weekend away. The owners have the home stocked with glassware and cooking utensils, as well as things you might not think of such as a hiking backpack and hiking sticks. Both TVs are set up with streaming platforms and the King bed is beyond comfy. An electric fireplace was an added bonus to the Nest AC controls and both rooms have ceiling fans. I will be staying here again as soon as I can. While you’re visiting, check out some of the Big Canoe amenities! The hiking trails are lovely and during the summer it looks like there’s lots to be done when it comes to hanging out at the lake. 5-star stay. Best vacation I’ve had in a while. Makes me want to buy a house in this community as soon as I can.
