“Wonderful stay in a beautiful home, hosts were lovely and breakfast was delicious”

“Slightly underwhelmed relative to high expectations. Check in was unmanned when we arrived over an hour after the 3pm time - another couple had been standing outside for 20 minutes. Room (admittedly the least expensive) was very small, no coffee or water in room - available down two flights of stairs. No shampoo. Lounge area is pleasant. Breakfast was very good quality but choice limited. Obviously it isn’t a full service hotel, but you need to step up in other areas and pay attention to detail……

“A total disappointment in a no hospitable environment that one would think is operating for monetary reasons only. Hosts were not visible at all unless you were repeatedly given some pieces of pancake every day for breakfast. Towels still smelled the previous guest body odors and didn’t feel good about non-white bedsheets or towels, doubting if there were hiding stains or unwashed sets. Couple rolls of paper towels in the car helped us pleasantly after each shower. The decorations or many acres……

“What a gem of a place! We only landed this place on short notice because someone else had to cancel. We really lucked out! Brandon and his family really made us feel at home. Our room was charming and so comfortable. The living room was welcoming and enabled us to visit with other travelers while enjoying some home scrumptious homemade goodies and hot tea. Brandon and his wife were a wealth of knowledge on the area and we enjoyed visiting with them. Breakfast was delish! We will……
