"Alan's place is clean and comfortable. We were there for the Vandalia festival at the Capitol and we were within walking distance. Downtown is less than 2 miles and we had great meals. We also brought the motorcycle and took a few beautiful rides in the mountains."

"The apartment was nice. But the kitchen needed more supplies. No baking sheets for our pizza. No mittens or towels or wash clothes for the kitchen. The towels were new and still had the plastic pieces that held the tags. The mattress needs replacing. Not a single picture on the walls. Needs to few more cozy."

"We came to ride the trails. I liked that we did not have to trailer the machines to the trail head on 2 of the 3 trail systems that we went to. Myrna and family are very friendly. Always asked if we needed anything. They allowed us to arrive early and hang out in the plentiful parking area. This allowed us and our pet to stretch our legs while she was cleaning the place for us. Town’s people are friendly and very appreciative of our business."

We had clear directions for letting ourselves in and settling in right away. The location was quick and accessible to and from Charleston which we traveled to and from each day and sometimes multiple times.
