I checked in at 10am and was told my room would not be ready till 12 noon. I accepted that and the receptionist asked me if I was i town for the race day and I replied yes. I was not able to access my room till 1pm. The race day started at 12.30pm and as I was working there I needed to be there by 12.30pm. I felt some priority could have been given to my room so I could have arrived to work on time. With the delay in getting in at the gate at the races I lost 1.5 hours pay.
