The staff were helpful and the breakfast was good. We are only short it still meant that we had to duck our heads when getting out of bed. Narrow stairs up to our bedroom. The room was comfortable and clean, with a good powerful shower. Breakfast was excellent in terms of quantity and quality, again with very friendly service. A great find. This was very much a last minute decision. Booked expecting a 3pm check in. We were in the area early and asked if we could check in early - staff accommodated us. Tom was lovely and clean. Staff were kind, friendly and made us feel at home. We were so impressed we had dinner - great local food and a great range of drinks in the bar. Bar was frequented by regulars who were friendly and keen to point out their favourite menu choices. The bar is dog friendly, however the restaurant side is dog free if you want a quieter break. They be around 12 different beers. All are so good we bought bottles for find and family.
