Upon arrival, the front desk lady went over a long list of strict rules, all of which had to be cleared by the owners first. I was shocked to find out that guests are not allowed at all. No pets are permitted either—yet the owner lives on-site with two huge dogs freely roaming the property. There are no lights near the dock or beach at night, which feels unwelcoming and even unsafe. The whole atmosphere is more like a retirement community where you’re expected to wind down by 9 PM. They also refused a late check-out and wouldn’t even allow us to stay on the premises after checking out. This was hands-down the worst experience I’ve had at a vacation rental. Gorgeous ocean front location with tons of areas to relax, kayak or paddle board. Rooms are updated (room 23), VERY clean and have all amenities.
