Accidentally left my Keys in my room, but I called Mari's emergency number and was given a lock box code to get a key to get back in my room. The whole process took about 5 minutes. Mari has a great demeanor, great smile .Nice joyful personality. I will call Caribbean House on my Next trip down to Key West.🙂🙂🙂

Liked the friendly staff and the rental bike. Didn't like the small shower or the empty next door lot with high weeds. It's a good place to stay if all you want is a room to sleep in and a bit of breakfast in the morning. Quiet, clean, and reasonably priced for Key West.

It is a convenient location which is close to the old city. From there I explored several must-see places i.e. Hemingway home and his six-toed fur babies, lighthouse having panoramic view of the city and sea, the southernmost point of US, and fascinating butterfly museum etc.

Very nice and friendly atmosphere. The staff was great, even “Rusty” (staff’s dog)😊. I would highly recommend the Caribbean House. Rooms are small, but rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable…what else do you need! We will definitely book here again.

We had an amazing stay in the Grenada room! It was a perfect location - minutes from Duval street and right across the street from Blue Heaven. One of our favorite parts of the stay was the house dog, Rusty! He was the cutest greeter every morning! Great price for a really nice B&B. And free mimosas every morning too! Absolutely would stay again.

Great place to stay in Key West. It’s walking distance to Duvall street. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are small but extremely clean. I definitely will be staying here again… oh plus there’s breakfast included such as muffins, yogurt, bagels, pasties etc. we enjoyed our stay at the Caribbean House!

The location is great! Was able to walk to mostly every place we wanted to go. The parking is a little frustrating. If I would have known ahead of time how hard it would be to find a spot I would have not rented a car. We did get in later than 5pm so office was closed. I called a left a message about where I was parked next to property to make sure it was okay to park there and never received a call back. I would recommend just parking down at the free parking and walking. Which they did give as an option and is the best one. Other than that it was a great location for a mother daughter trip!!

Loved my time here! From the morning mimosas to the friendly staff, this little B&B is a great choice for a 2 - 3 night stay. As mentioned in almost every review I've read, the rooms are very small so if you are planning on staying a week I would look elsewhere.

Very convenient in Old Town, especially if you don't have a vehicle. Staff were very friendly. Bed is really uncomfortable and pillows need a refresh. Room is tiny/cozy, but doable for one person. Two might be a bit tight. Breakfast was pretty mediocre for the price--about what you'd get from any standard hotel. This was my first stay in Key West and while I enjoyed staying somewhere that was walkable, I don't know that I would choose this one again. The mattresses were REALLY uncomfortable and I'm no super picky about that kind of thing.

We had a lovely stay, the staff was extremely accommodating. The location is great as you’re right there. Loved the coffee, tea, and other beverages readily available. Cons that really would make me consider not staying here again. 1) the rooms are very very small. I read that in the reviews, but didn’t realize how small they were. Not sure if they are all that way, or was it our room because we booked through Expedia. I found it extremely difficult to get ready. If you’re a woman like me that enjoys doing your hair and makeup. There is no where to do so. Also the bathrooms are dangerous. I had to swing my hips around the sink to get to the toilet. And I my husband and I are not big people. 2) if you happen to meet other guests and decide to sit and have fun. The other guests or neighbors will yell at you if you’re to loud. We were not real loud, just laughing and heard someone scold us. I’m in key west I don’t want to feel like I am staying at grandmoms house. They actually threatened to call the police. We felt extremely uncomfortable from then on. 3) this is not there fault but the neighbor has a horrible bee infestation problem. There were hundreds of bees right near our room. I think this is a great place for a one night stay and if you’re someone who is in bed early. Because of the cons we really just tried to stay out and about.

Lisabeth-Thank you for the review. We do have a great location with fantastic staff. The readily available drinks is always a plus. We are as we advertise; clean, cozy(a.k.a. small). All of our rooms are the same size and have nothing to do how you booked. Yes the bathroom in your unit, you do have to enter sideways. All of our bathrooms are configured differently. We do have quiet hours after 10pm. We do ask guests to keep the fun on Duval Street after 10. If you were scolded before then, we do apologize. We have been in contact with owner of the neighboring building with bee issue several times and he keeps saying he called a bee man. We do appreciate your business.Kind regards,

Love this place!
Cute place! Small room & bathroom, just as it’s described on this site. 2 blocks from Duvall St, so it was super convenient location for seeing Key West. A sitting area is on both sides of the house- we enjoyed our time out there each evening. The complimentary mimosas, breakfast basket delivery, and friendly staff were a huge plus!

Very mediocre stay
Pros: great location, you are going to be in the middle of all the activities. Restaurants, shops, historic landmarks, museums, etc. Yet, the hotel is an aside from roaring drunk crowds. You will have relatively quiet stay (more about it later, keep on reading). Overall, fairly clean and well kept. Con’s: like everything else in Key West, the property is old and very dated. The rooms are very small, even more so was the bathroom. The shower was 2,5’x2’. No, it’s real, enough to fit me in so I could spin around to take a shower. The sink barely fitted in the corner. Very small. There is no room to breathe there. Some mold on the ceiling and walls (expected in Key West). If you are a light sleeper look somewhere else! Noise insulation is nonexistent. I had neighbors and I could hear everything they were fighting about. Yeah, it was bad. So if you are going to have neighbors next door (and you will most likely), it will be loud, regardless. Breakfast was a joke. Pics included. The blueberry scone was a midget size, so was the orange. No hot items, everything was cold. You’ll have an option of coffee and juice, some fruit, bagel and cheese, cereal with milk, yogurt and that’s about it. Very FIRM mattress. Might be an issue for some. TV is from a previous era, small and poor quality. But I didn’t use it, didn’t care for one to begin with. If you are looking to crash for a night or two, this place is good enough.

We are in a great location with fantastic staff.The TV is a standard flat screen TV and who's in Key West to watch TV. Our breakfast is quite adequate for most. You can have your choices of banana, mandarin orange, apple, sweet treat of the day(which varies), english muffin, bagel, cage free hard boiled egg, two types of yogurt with granola, cheerios, raisin bran, apple juice, orange juice and 2 types of biscotti. You could have as little or as much as you like. Not to mention the complimentary mimosas. We wish you safe travels where ever your journeys may take you.Kind regards

I had a great time in KW, and Carribean House was a great place to stay. Great location near Duval St. My room was super clean and comfortable. The staff was respinsive and helpful. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

Room was extremely small and uncomfortable Bed so high we needed a step to climb up. No chairs in the room. Difficult to walk around the bed to get to the bathroom especially if someone is charging their phone on that side of the room. You get what you pay for.

Your passage has a few grammar and punctuation issues. Here's a corrected version: First thing, there is a $25 per night "destination fee" added to the price. We got a real shoebox-sized room—so small that there is no place for a second nightstand. In addition, I don't know who gave them the idea to put the liquid soap dispenser right above the toilet paper... If you plan to bring diving or any other type of equipment, I suggest looking for another hotel. If you just need a place to crash, this will do. The old town is within walking distance, and the Hemingway House is at the next traffic light. The place has a nice AC, is clean and quiet. Several very good restaurants and bars are located practically next door.

The staff was very helpful. The rooms are tastefully decorated. It is in an excellent location. The only things I would change about it are 1) I would have liked breakfast to be available earlier than 8:30 a.m., 2) a small microwave in each room would have been convenient (there is one in a common area but that area is only lit by natural lighting so inaccessible in the evening - after 7 a.m.), and 3) the rooms are very humid (towels had to be replaced daily and even clothing became damp). We were in KW during an unusually heavy rainy week. I do not know if other times would have been as humid in the rooms; if so, a dehumidifier would be a good addition.

If you understand Key West short-term rental, this is a nice, clean very small but well kept spot. Really good location and ease of access. That being said, there is nothing extra here...this is for the person that is focusing on being away from their room for the time. TV worked to some extent, but not perfectly. Had a/c, small bits of storage..really everything you need.

Very quaint little hotel, with a very unique field. Nice sitting areas outside the room as well. A breakfast sitting area with a decent continental breakfast and morning mimosas. Close to all amenities. Walking distance to Duval Street, a couple little bars, and restaurants right on the same street. Staff were very friendly and helpful, would definitely go back again.

The staff couldn’t have been nicer the breakfast every morning was a nice treat. It was so close to really nice restaurants.
