Nice Location
We VRBO often and this was our first trip to Key West. The location of this property was great…most things within walking distance including our favorite restaurant Blue Heaven! It’s a must try! We liked that the community was gated and had a dedicated parking spot as parking around town can be challenging. The property manager was very accommodating. We would consider this place again when we come back to Key West for sure.

One of the nicest places we have stayed. Liked the privacy of the corner unit. Television and cable worked great. Very comfortable furniture. Back deck and foliage was very nice and we had a cute little lizard we named Runt come visit us every morning. Would love to stay here again!

Nice property …but with some dislikes
Good location, great pool, decent facilities within the unit. Animal hair on sofas on arrival, dirt in cupboards & under beds and in kitchen drawers. We had to wash everything including towels on arrival. I disliked the fact I did not get details on how I could access the unit until 4pm on arrival day. I don’t like traveling half way across the world without knowing for sure how I will access a property. Appreciate this could just be personal preference. We also had noisy neighbours who shouted and played music at 4am after coming back from a night out. There was route to resolve this I was told which I appreciated but didn’t make for a great stay. Not ideal when staying with kids. Overall the unit is well equipped but felt neglected in terms of cleaning and a few changes needed IMO. We had an ok stay but probably wouldn’t come back being honest.

Simply put, some people would be better off staying in a 5 star resort but book a VRBO to save a few dollars and then are disappointed that it is not a 5 star resort. As you can tell from our 117 x 4.9 star reviews - we do take pride in offering a very clean and well kept unit to our guests. As far as your check in time - it is 4pm as agreed. No, you do not get access to the unit before then. For the safety of the previous guests and our cleaning crew, we do not give out that information until your actual check in time. That is a fairly standard rule and to not only expect access before your lease begins, but be upset about it and throw a fit(as you did) is fairly delusional. Myself and my manager fielded dozens of texts, phone calls and messages from you ranging from noise outside of the home, to how to turn on a lamp. The streets of Key West do tend to get a bit rowdy late at night and although we tried, we can not police the island to your liking. We could not have been more polite and accommodating to you and the fact that you took time out of your day to write us less than a stellar review is just on par with the entire experience of renting to you. I am thankful that you "probably" wouldn't come back, because we certainly wouldn't want you to.

We have been to key west twice before but this was the best location for us . We walked everywhere and enjoyed local sights . Instacart was a bonus so we could eat breakfast and lunch on the patio

Fantastic Unit
We had the pleasure of staying at this lovely end unit. We have never stayed in New Town. This unit is in the heart of the downtown area. Walking distance to Duval Street. The owner and property manager were both very helpful. We spent most of our time in the back patio area. The back area is very private unlike most of the end units in Truman Annex. It backs up against the waterfront park so there are no neighbors behind the unit. This unit is also on an end next to a street that is not part of Truman Annex so there are no units on one side at all. I especially liked being so close to the Truman Waterfront Park. The unit has everything that is needed for eating in. We are looking forward to staying again next year.

Overall Good experience
Nick was really helpful and he made me feel comfortable when reaching out to him about the layout of the land. The property was clean and had everything we needed. What impressed me the most about the property was that it provided household items, which saved on our costs for the vacation. It was an amazing experience and the next time I visit I will definitely book this place.

Communication with the owner Nick, and property manager, Marie was beyond phenomenal. They were very responsive to all my questions. The property is beautiful, clean and perfect! Wow!
Wow ! That was the first words out of our mouth upon entering. The rooms were spacious and well decorated. The beds are comfortable and we loved the walk-in shower. The back deck had good sunshine and privacy to lounge upon. We definitely will look at re-booking upon our return.

Quiet location close to most everything
The condo is tucked back in a quiet corner in Shipyard Condos. It is clean, comfortable and convenient-especially loved being just steps from Truman Water Front Park and the amazing Key West sunsets. Marie, an excellent host, communicated with me throughout the booking process through check-in and answered questions, quickly resolved issues, and setup rooms as requested. The condo was equipped with everything we needed. The back deck is charming and quiet. The little gecko/lizards joined me on the deck for tea and reading daily, adding to the charm of Key West. There are good restaurants very close by and Duval Street is a short walk away. Highly recommend booking this property!

Wonderful vacation rental
This condo is in the perfect location in the Truman Annex. You can walk almost anywhere, and the pool is very close by. As is the Fort Zachary Taylor beach. The condo is super clean and the beds were very comfortable. I was there for two weeks and I would stay again. Marie is a wonderful host and communicator and even helped me find places to stop on our drive down the keys from Miami. Wonderful experience!!!

Perfect location
The price was great and the location was absolutely perfect. We were able to walk just about anywhere and rented a golf cart which I highly recommend as it makes it easier to go even further. Marie was very communicative and there was more than enough of everything needed. I have stayed in a VRBO in Ruskin and didn’t have towels as stated and cooking items. At the annex we had EVERYTHING. Wonderful Getaway
We had a great stay. It is the perfect location. We did not have a car and walked to a different restaurant each night. During the day we biked 5 minutes to a beautiful beach. The condo was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Check- in and out was a breeze. We will be back!

Great for family, too
EYW can easily be a place for singles and couples, but Marie and Tom made it so easy for us to travel with our tween and teen and give them a great place to stay for Spring Break. The condo is centrally located, quiet, clean, end unit full of sun and peace. It was great!

This is a nicely appointed condo and had everything we needed during our stay.
We have stayed at Truman Annex before and this condo was very clean As well as neatly organized. The location is close to Duval and Fort Zachary. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

This condo was great. It’s location is perfect. Close to all that Old Town has to offer yet very quiet. Marie was awesome and even got us early check in without my having to ask! Condo is clean and spacious. Furniture very comfortable (both living and bedroom). Nicely stocked with all the necessities (towels, paper products, soaps etc). Sometimes with rentals you don’t get much in that area and with flying you just can’t bring all that “stuff”

Wonderful week in Key West
Had a fun, relaxing week in Key West. We like staying in Truman Annex because it's close to everything, the tropical landscaping is gorgeous and the new waterfront park is beautiful and low key for watching the sunsets. The condo is clean, well maintained and had everything we needed for the week.

We loved staying here. This unit is in the very back corner, so unfortunately if you're heading into the main part of town you have to cross the whole boring parking lot. If you go out the side, it's a quick walk to the coolest splash pad we've ever seen. We really enjoyed this place!

Great time in Key West
We had a great time staying at the Old Town Key West Condo. Marie was wonderful to communicate with. She also gave us fantastic recommendations and directions. The condo is very conveniently located to most if not all major attractions. The grounds were very nicely kept. The condo was just as advertised. The only recommendation or comment is that the return air vents were very dirty and the floorboards were dirty in the corners, especially in the bathroom. I am sure it is hard to keep everything in pristine condition in such a humid environment. Not the owners fault though. We really enjoyed the back patio. The pool was super nice too. It is a bit on the small side, but we still enjoyed it! We would recommend this condo to any of our friends and family, and would like to return someday. There is so much to do in Key West for all ages. Thanks again, Marie and Tom for sharing your lovely condo!

Nice condo in great location
Cozy space with great covered deck. Well appointed with everything you'll need to enjoy your time in Key West. Ceiling fans in each room and on the deck. One block to free bus. Beautiful area within walking distance of Duval and all the action.
