“The cottage itself was cute and if properly cleaned and maintained it would have been wonderful. The floor/tiles in one bathroom were loose, in the other bathroom the floor felt "squishy" and there were multiple broken/cracked shelves in the shower. Two of the burners on the stove did not work and when using the stove/oven there was smoke. The window when opened to alleviate the smoke would not stay open. This property allows pets and unfortunately their cleaning and repairs do not keep up with……

“My family of 4 enjoyed our stay at the Saltaire Cottages. The location was better than I could have asked for - literally steps away from a beautiful beach with very few people. We did travel in Late May so it may have been before the crowds but it was perfect. There is a local bar and burger joint steps from the cottages which made it great for an evening drink and snacks. They also had delicious burgers! It was the perfect family vacation with some adventures - Wright Brothers museum and……

“Blackbeard’s Retreat was clean, however could use an update. Awesome location, could benefit from an outdoor hose or shower, we needed to rinse off with the neighbor’s hose. It suited our needs for a couple days. ”

“This property is beautiful! It is so close to the beach, perfect location when you have children. There are plenty of delicious places to eat. The house was well stocked with everything you would need. Tim was extremely kind when we had questions. We would definitely stay again!!”

“Dog friendly 4 bedroom 2 bath house. Outdoor stairs easier for some to get to second floor. The spiral staircase inside is not ideal for people who may have mobility issues. Comfortable temperature control. W/D in good working condition. Limited cooking utensils. May want to bring favorite pots/pans if you’re planning on meal prep. We all felt very comfortable staying there and the location is tops!! Centrally located and close to beaches, shops, restaurants , etc. Two very friendly cats live……

“This was a great spot for the 2 of us and our dog. You truly cannot beat how close to the ocean you are. Enjoyed the proximity to the beach the best. A lot of sand gets tracked in because it is on ground level. We had a broom but no dish pan so we just used paper plates to try and clean everything up. Kitchen was fine, nice fridge and everything worked. The only downfall was that there was not an outdoor shower! If you decide to stay here, bring a 5 gallon bucket to fill up with to try and wash……
