The hotel is in a great location for everything outer banks offers. Corolla and Kitty Hawk were both within 30 minutes. The beach access is amazing and offered great sunrise views. Some minor mechanical and cosmetic repairs could be made in the rooms. They were clean and we'll staffed . Breakfast was typical for chain hotels, coffee always hot and fresh.. The sound of the ocean from our balcony was divine.

Clean, spacious room with good beds. Simple breakfast buffet is included. However, the place has no restaurant - need to drive to nearby towns/villages. Plenty of parking. Very short walk to beach. Major advantage: this is a quiet neighborhood, away from the stripmall like Kitty Hawk and Kill Devils towns.

Staff at the front desk were excellent. Housekeeping did take our dirty towels but didn't leave any clean ones which meant I had to go to desk and ask for some. Wasn't a huge deal but I was on my way to the pool. They should have had housekeeping bring them to the room instead of making me wait for them.

Front desk staff all very nice and helpful. Rooms always clean and tidy. Breakfast was not good at all. Eggs were way over down. Too rubbery! I didnt get to make a waffle because of the station being over crowded every morning no matter the time. We will come back but would rather have breakfast somewhere else.

We enjoyed the free breakfast, 3 pools, food/drinks available to buy in the market, comfy room, and boardwalk to the beach (although we saw some senior citizens struggling with the last step to the beach). Since it’s an oceanfront property it’s probably hard to keep carpeting fresh, so the hallways smelled bad and pool areas could have been cleaner. But small complaints overall.
