This is a budget accommodation that offers decent value. It is basic with a few quirks but if you're looking for an inexpensive place on Bonaire, it'll do.
It was clean and there is a kitchenette with a double hot plate, small fridge, and sink plus the basics of kitchenware. There's no coffee maker or toaster. The space was a bit cramped but for the price, very reasonable. Cold showers, of course. The bedroom has no windows but it does have a small TV and decent AC. They ask you to only run the AC for 8 hours at night and have an option to pay more if you want to run it during the day.
My biggest complaint about the place is that there is no reception so you have to have a phone to communicate with them. They say that they offer airport pick up but when we requested it, they said just take a taxi from the airport - it's the same price (which is true but definitely not convenient as there weren't any taxis just hanging around). Also, we told them what time we would arrive but nobody was there when we go there. We managed to get online and message them (we didn't have SIM card for our phone) and then had to wait 30 mins for her to arrive. Then, we had to prove that we'd pre-paid because her records showed we still owed money. Once that was all settled, the stay was uneventful and they even allowed us a late check out (for a fee). She was very friendly just not super organized.
Overall, good location & good value for money but only if you are used to BUDGET accommodations.
