The only dislike would have been that our shower drain would rattle early in the morning, we just took off the drain cap and no more rattling. I actually feel a bit bad for writing that, because everything else was SUPER NICE! 9/10.

Was very small and well organized. No phones in the rooms and limited access to desk help as it closes completely after about 5 PM. No shuttle service to the airport.

Thank you for your review Craig. It is indeed true that we do not have a shuttle to and from the airport. Our front desk is open daily between 8am and 7pm. Perhaps our receptionist was not at the front desk, but in a room when you came by.

I liked that I could walk to the airport. They have a gate that they close at night and have a fob that you can still get in and out. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The WiFi was good especially for an island WiFi! There was not any complimentary coffee or complimentary anything. It was nice that there was a fridge and A/C. There was only an electric tea pot in the room but no coffee. The remote to the TV did not turn on the TV, this was ok because I did not watch any TV after that because the WiFi was good so I used my VPN to watch Hulu and Netflix instead.

Only stay here as a transition to to/fro the airport for just 1 night and nothing more than that as there is nothing else around it. Convenient walk to the airport as a back packer with few luggage less than 5mins

The bedding was comfortable. The overall space of the room and the layout was nice. There was not enough parking which was difficult. I was without a coffee maker the entire trip, which I requested three times and was basically ignored. The desk staff seemed disinterested. Because of the desk staff and management, I will not be staying here again which is a shame since I come about 12 weeks a year to stay at Bonaire.

Great location across from the airport, close to great dive sites. Room was Spartan and small. Huge shower with huge shower head. Other than a small fridge, nothing but a hot pot for boiling water. No cups, no coffee or tea, only 2 small glasses. No ice cube trays nor place to get ice. A small microwave would have really been nice, as food on the island is OUTRAGEOUSLY EXPENSIVE. Needs a dunk tank for dive gear and a clothesline. Bed was comfortable, but needed a real blanket in addition to the thin bedspread. I’d stay there again if they had a way to cook food in the room.

Very good!
Very nice hotel. Even though it is close to the airport, there’s only a few flights a day, that’s no issue whatsoever. The room with airco was very tidy, with housekeeping coming in every couple of days. Very friendly too. I can recommend restaurant ‘the Dock’ next to the hotel, we had several quality meals there. Next time on Bonaire we will stay at Ocean Breeze again.

The staff was excellent...they really made the visit exceptional. The restaurant staff was wonderful to be around. Didn't like the construction site next door, but progress is necessary.

Bad service lack of duty
I booked this hotel with a high expectation and especially because it has a on site restaurant. However, when I got there, the restaurant was closed. And the front desk! And it is not just one day, but during all the time that I stayed. Yes, there is Covid-19 effect, but not all restaurants were closed (in fact most restaurants in town and the next door Marriot/Couryard were still open). And why cannot someone stay at the front desk?! So, each night, I have to walk to the next Courtyard hotel to dine in their restaurant. There is no phone to use for making even local phone calls, and no one at the front desk to provide help. All the guests were just abandoned by the hotel. If there had been any real emergency, like an earthquake, the guests would be left in desperate in a foreign country. The hotel management really lacked a sense of duty. I would not recommend this hotel.

Ocean Breeze is a perfect place to stay . It is close to down town and the airport . A easy drive to the every place on the island . The workers are all friendly and helpful with questions about where to eat or how to get around the island . It is quite , I did not hear my neighbors or airplanes take off or land . The rooms outside and hallways are clean and tidy . Will I stay or recommend this hotel , a great big yes yes yes . you will not find a better place to stay for any price . Ocean Breeze is a 5 star hotel .

Good location, near downtown. Warm, friendly and helpful staff. We've stayed at other hotels in Bonaire where the owners were aloof and treated us like tourists (which we are) and just seemed to want our money. Ocean Breeze treated us like guests. Lots of helpful advice. Excellent lunch and dinner. We've been to Bonaire 3 times, plan on returning each year, and will definitely book a room here in the future.
