Walk out of the hotel and literally toji station is across, lawson to the left, bus stop to the right. Few restaurants around. Quiet at night.

Various aspects of the hotel is above average, especially its location is very convenient. However, the hotel has to pay more attention to its cleanliness. 2 small living coachproaches welcomed us in our room on the check-in day.

Great location (1 minute walk from station) and amenities (free tidbits and beverages at lobby). Rooms are comfortable. Only complaint was that the pillows are a bit thin. You can request for additional pillows at the front desk.

So glad we stayed at this hotel while in Kyoto - the location was convenient for travel, and the room itself was surprisingly spacious. Staff were very welcoming and helpful with any questions we had.

Had a washing machine, not free but useful. They have very modern check in and check Out via a machine in the front desk. Also a baggage room where we can lock our baggage if we get there early and again, if we had to checkout. Breakfast is mediocre. Free drink and snacks 24 hours

This property was the best hotel during our trip to Japan. Room was spacious, lot of amenities, and open area to get snacks/drinks and hang out. The only thing I wish was to get water during the hours between 630-930.

Very nice staff. We had messed up our room as my daughter got sick. We got another room at 5 am, so our could be cleaned asap. Excellent breakfast. Very close to metro which is convenient.

Loved hotel . Great location with Toji train station opposite. So could walk, take subway or train v easily all over Kyoto and for day trips out of Kyoto. A second softer pillow would be welcomed.

The Comfort hotel was Great!!The room was large, the TV allowed for easy to plug in an Amazon stick. The staff was very helpful, very professional and courteous. The hotel is directly across from the Toji Train station which is one stop from the Kyoto Station on the Kintetsu Line towards Shintanabe. It is walking distance to the Toji Temple, quite impressive. The Toji Kintetsu Line goes directly to Fushima Inara Temple. The hotel had three washer/dryers you can use, 500 or 600 yen depending on weight. The bed is soft not the typical hard Asian style. Lawsons store next door. Good value for conveniences. Highly recommend and I would stay again.

The breakfast was amazing. So many transportation options right outside the door. Rooms were nice and the common area was nice to have to meet with our group. I loved the snacks, the spiral pasta were my favorite, and I looked forward to the sweets and tea every night before bed. The staff were so kind and helpful. I can't recommend this place enough.

The housekeeping staff didnt clean the room very well specially between the toilet cover and the sink. They also didn’t take away 6 tea cups each night we were at the hotel.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Being right across the street from Toji Station and one stop away from Kyoto Station was super convenient. There is also multiple restaurants and multiple convenience stores around. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in Kyoto.

With train and bus less than 1 minute walking distance, this is one of the best places to explore all kyoto. Hotel amenities are basic but they more than make it up with cleanliness and English speaking staff. This is the cleanest room I have ever stayed!

Comfort Inn was right across the street from the train station and very easy to access public transportation. The Staff were friendly and the accommodations were clean. They had a nice breakfast buffet in the morning, and their facilities had coin operated laundry machines, which is helpful for families. I highly recommend Comfort Inn.
