Paradise on the Beach
We had a fantastic time at Rancho Cajun. Would definitely recommend. El Salvador is a rising star thanks to El Presidente Bukele and his government. Very friendly people and we felt safe. The pool was clean and refreshing and we enjoyed using the BBQ every day. Access to the beach was amazing. A fond lifelong memory for sure.

Feels just like home.
We have family in el salvador but this was our first time staying at the beach. Our stay was for 3 weeks and I'm glad I chose Rancho Cajun. Dianna was a great host. Everything from the beginning to the end was smooth. No complications or nothing. We felt safe and at home. The location of the house was beautiful. The pictures doesn't do justice. We loved the fact that we had privacy. The care taker doesn't live on the property but when they come to clean, we didn't even know they where there. They where really nice people. Dianna's house was stock with everything I needed. It was our first time staying on the beach in the area but Dianna let us know about everything near by. She also had a book of all restaurants that delivered which was a plus. I can go on and on about my stay. If you are thinking about renting this house, you should. I know I will be coming back to Rancho Cajun in the future. And thank you again Dianna for hosting us in your beautiful home. We and our family there enjoyed our stayed very much. Hope to see you in the future.

Memorial Day Vacay
Enjoyed by the entire family. Had a few unplanned adventures that added to our memories. There were a couple of first timers to El Salvador and were humbled, excited and impressed with its natural beauty. Plan on going back soon.

Privacy and safety.
My Husband, I and our friend enjoyed Rancho Cajun, the privacy that this Rancho offers to guests it is a gem. There is nobody else on the property except some friendly cats and iguanas! Rancho Cajun is very safe, the street and beach sides gates have padlocks and every door at the house has a way to close and lock while you sleep or go out. Dianne was very helpful in making sure we had all the information we needed for our stay and ensuring a comfortable home for us to enjoy and relax in for the week. By the way, the pictures on this site do not do the home justice; i'ts much nicer in person.

This Rancho looks really nice in pictures . However, the place itself needs some updating . They need new bed sheets, some work to do in showers . The furniture in living room was old and stinky . We personally would not stay there again .

Sorry you didn't enjoy your stay at the house. We have had the sofa cleaned since you said it was smelly. We recently replaced one of the sectional sofas to 2 leather sofas with 4 recliners which were here when you stayed which did not smell. The showers are not like the U.S. You have to turn the shower switch to cold, warm or hot. Everything we did to try to make you happy just didn't seem to please you at all.

It's a very nice place to enjoy with the whole family and friends.
I had a really good time with my family and really enjoy the beach nice and quiet. The beach is very private no public crowds. Dianne is a very nice, friendly and very respectful person. I will be looking forward to renting the house on my next vacation with my family. The only thing that i would recommend is to fix the hot water in two showers, there is no cold water, only hot water, other than that everything else is fine.

Thank you for such a really nice review.! I enjoyed meeting you & your family. About the hot water in the shower. The heater on the shower has 3 switches. You can choose cold, medium heat or hot. We leave the switch on hot since most of my customers only use hot water when here. Next time you come, I will be sure to show you how to get cold water on the showers. See you in the future.

2022 family trip
Overall we enjoy our stay, the property was clean, kids enjoy the pool, AC where it counts comfortable beds, Diane was a great host very responsive to our questions and needs. House is a bit far from town, but, we were looking for a quiet time anyways, but still close enough to great restaurants. Willl recommend anytime twice on Sunday. Lol

Great experience
An exceptional experience from begging to end. Diane is an amazing host. Always there to answer any questions. A nice, spacious place with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Clean and very quiet. Perfect for us to enjoy the beach as we pleased and watch the amazing sun sets! The place is just as described. Will definitely stay there again!

Safe/Clean beach front property
We visited family in El Salvador and rented this property for all 9. Plenty of room, A/C worked well in rooms and HOT showers. Comfortable beds clean sheets. Amazing view and fun activities to do, we released turtles, delicious food delivered to the door. Property manager is super nice and we could get a hold of easily.

Perfect place to stay for a relaxing and stress free beach vacation
Everything about this home is exactly as pictured. It is spotlessly clean, has super comfortable beds and a fabulous kitchen. We have been to this home multiple times in the last few years and every time we come Dianne has upgraded something! I really can’t say enough about this beach house! I don’t speak Spanish well and being in such a safe, well lit and secure area allows me to really relax and enjoy the most beautiful sunsets anywhere 😍

Beyond Amazing!!
Dianne was so helpful and accommodating even before we arrived for our stay. Whatever questions she did not have the answers to, she made sure to find out for us and we greatly appreciated it. The place had exactly what we needed for the 4 days that we stayed. The neighborhood was safe and quit on the weekdays. The neighbors were super friendly and welcoming. I advise bringing lots of bug spray lol The private pool and private beach entrance was just the icing on the cake. Keep in mind the WIFI isn't too great in case you want to work online during your stay. Luckily none of us were there for that so we weren't too bothered lol We will definitely rent this house again when we return for a visit. Thank You so much for everything Dianne!!! :-)

We had a fantastic stay. Communication was great and we loved the house. Super clean. Great views and easy access to the beach. The separate freezer was a nice touch and the place was decorated just right. We appreciated all of the indoor and outdoor seating which allowed us to visit with friends yet maintain a distance for COVID safety. Will return.

Best place ever for a getaway
I decided to take a chance and plan a family vacation during these uncertain times. I wanted somewhere tropical, on the beach and with a pool. I was pleasantly surprised to check off everything on my list at Playa San Diego, Rancho Cajun. Dianne is such a wonderful detailed hostess, the front / backyards and pool were cleaned daily, the home is very spacious, each bedroom has it's own bathroom which was a total plus for me. Dianne makes sure that her guests know where the local restaurants are, and when vendors come and sell fruits, vegetables and breads in the street. All of the locals are so nice, you will really feel comfortable. If you are ever planning a trip to beautiful El Salvador, Dianne's home is the place to stay, I can't wait to go back!

Great 12 day stay at Rancho Cahun
This was the first time that my husband and I stayed so long in one place. We loved it! It is a big house since it can house 10 people easily but we liked having all the room. Dianne greeted us and was extremely helpful with anything we needed or wanted to know. She has lots of local knowledge and knows people that can help. For example, you can arrange airport pick up transportation, cleaning and even cooking through her. The house was clean and had everything we needed, when I needed a baking dish for a casserole, she came over and brought it to us. I did have to get used to using the gas stove (Dianne showed me how to light it) since I've always used electric appliances. There is hot water for the showers but not in the kitchen (very common in ES) so I would boil water to do the dishes, somewhat like camping. We swam everyday in the pool and went for long walks along the beautiful uncrowded beach. The area is very safe and we enjoyed taking the chicken bus (0.25) down to Super Selectos in La Libertad. Again we really enjoyed our stay and I do recommend it for a nice restful holiday by the ocean. The house has everything you could possibly need and if you need anything, just ask. Dianne is truly a wonderful host and we even invited her to dinner one night. If we decide to come back to El Salvador, we will definitely stay here again. From Carole and Dieter, Montreal, Canada

I am sorry to hear that you boiled water to wash your dishes each time. I have lived here for 16 years & never once boiled water to wash my dishes. That sounds like a lot of extra work. I always leave my guest with a special dish cake soap & sponge that cuts grease to wash your dishes with cold water. I should have shown you how to use it when you arrived. The prefect place!
Our stay at Rancho Cajun was absolutely wonderful! Dianne came out and met us on the first day and made sure we made it in safe as well as tell us all about the local places we should go to! The house was very clean, the pool was perfect, she had the perfect amount of seating and WiFi was a lifesaver during our stay! The beach was literally the back yard! We found many shells and sand dollars and the sunsets were beautiful! We couldn’t have found a better place to stay in El Salvador. We will definitely be coming back next year! Anyone looking to stay, this is the place!

The process of getting checked in was great. The owner of the beach house met us as soon as we came in and explained to us what the rules were and our options around us for food. Memorable and relaxing stay!
My wife and I traveled to El Salvador to visit family members and Rancho Cajun was the highlight of the trip! Our 3 night stay was awesome! Dianne was a great host and dropped by to greet us. Perfect as always
This is my second time visiting and I love the place. There have been many upgrades within one year and the house is amazing with the view of the ocean. What I love the most is how secure the house is, it's safe, the size of the house, and Dianne is always available if anything is needed. Definitely recommend to everyone!!

Another great trip to the beach
This is the second time our family has stayed at Rancho Cajun and we enjoyed ever minute. It is situated on Playa San Diego which is a soft sand beach. The views are spectacular and it is relaxing place to walk or play in the surf. Dianne could not be nicer and checked to see if we needed anything a few days into our stay. My grand daughter loves playing in the pool and the yard has nice soft grass. It can get warm but the bedrooms are air conditioned so there is always a place to retreat to if you need to cool off. I look forward to staying here again next year. We had 9 family members in total and it is large enough that we each had space to be together or do our own thing. Highly recommend this rental.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rancho Cajun. We also felt very safe in the area. You can walk the beaches for miles right outside your beach gate. The house was amazing & you can see the view of the beach from anywhere in the house. The house was very clean . The beds were very comfortable with soft clean sheets. All Ac's worked great! We usually rent hotels when we travel but for this price per night on the water, you could not beat it. The house lay out was perfect because it is very open & has several different seating areas. We also loved the fact that we could buy our fresh vegetables & fruit right off the truck each morning. We also used the little restaurant down the street called Lilians & they would deliver food to the house when we called them. Each day around 3pm we would wait for the bikes that deliver the sweet breads. The price was so inexpensive. We do plan to return to Rancho Cajun on our next trip to El Salvador.

Everything was great! From day one Dianne was there and came by daily to insure everything is great or if I needed anything. The location is great, there is a store near by that had everything I needed. The access to the beach was awesome! I will be back next time I travel. I definitely recommend Rancho Cajun to everyone!

Fantastic Home Fabulous Price
My Wife and I, Look and Look for a Beach Front Property in La Libertad, something that would be close to Santa Tecla so family could visit and of course a place that we would feel safe. We were not disappointed at all, we had the pleasure to have met Dianne the owner and she was very attentive to our needs and made us feel at home. Her maintenance staff Nelson and Martha were there every day making sure the grounds were very clean. My family came to visit almost every day and they were also very impressed and had a great time. Wonderful house especially at this price!
The house was great! I found that the house looks better than the photos when I arrived. I have had bad experiences renting other homes over the years where the house looks so much worst than the photos but this house was absolutely perfect & beyond what I expected. ! With it's open airy floor plan & all the glass, I could see the ocean from anywhere in the house. The beds were comfortable & clean. The AC's worked great! The bath towels were large which I like. The black & white table with the stools in the kitchen made a perfect area for my friends & family to gather around. There are several areas including the front patio & also the patio facing the beach that could handle my large group no matter where we gathered. We also saw large turtles laying eggs at night right in front of the house. The beach was also great where you could walk on the sand & they didn't have rocks. The other times I have rented in El Salvador, all the homes had rocks on the beach which made it impossible to walk along the beach. I felt very safe here. After staying here at Rancho Cajun, I don't feel I need to look for another home on my next visit. I do plan on returning each year to Rancho Cajun. Also I loved the fact that you can call the restaurant down the street & they will deliver food to the house so we didn't have to leave the house unless we wanted to. The fruit/vegetable truck comes by the house everyday so we didn't really have to go to the store. Everything came to us. We also took the bus into town for a quarter one day which was a great experience! The bus stop is just a few feet from the house. Dianne, the owner, was a great host & gave us tips on where to go & eat out if we wanted to venture out for the day. i would highly recommend this house to anyone staying in El Salvador. I am already looking forward to my next visit to Rancho Cajun.

Hier stimmte einfach alles! Von der perfekten Gastgeberin bis zum Haus/Pool/Strand! Wir haben hier eine wundervolle Zeit verbracht. Auch fühlten wir uns zu jeder Zeit sicher. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und verfügt über alles was man braucht. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder <3 Alles liebe für Dianne von Torsten, Claudia und Noah. Everything was just right here! From the perfect hostess to the house/pool/beach! We spent a wonderful time here. We also felt safe at all times.
