Love Northern Wisconsin
Lots of room, great living and outdoor spaces. Plenty of parking. Fabulous shower!! Beds a little hard for our backs but otherwise very comfortable home. Fully utilized the kitchen which was well equipped. Thank you for the coffee!!

Quiet, Beautiful Surroundings
We love our time spent at this beautiful place, though limited. We attend the annual Fall ride to “Honor the Fallen” and stay at this lovely home with family and friends for the weekend. Cozy cabin on the river
This cozy cabin was a great spot for enjoying the outdoors with friends. We especially enjoyed the big fire pit and river access for tubing down the river!

Beautiful cabin on river
This place far exceeded our expectations. The layout is perfect for a group staying together. It’s great to have a large table for meals, abundant seating, and beautiful views of the river. The backyard is a great bonus for games and a bonfire. Overall, very clean, has everything you need, and was one of my favorite VRBOs I have ever stayed at. Would totally recommend!

Great stay
The cabin was located right by the river but provided enough privacy for us. It is very convenient to a Walmart especially for any quick runs for things we forgot. It provided the perfect place to explore the surrounding towns and area. The cabin was very clean and the hosts were very responsive. Overall, it was a great stay. Thank you!

This was a beautiful property ! So thankful to have stayed here with my family. We skied at Christie and it was only a short and easy drive away from the cabin. The view from the river was incredible in the mornings. Thank you Shannon for a great stay! Hope to stay again next winter :)

Great girls weekend getaway
Exactly as described. Great location, loved watching the river flowing by. I expected to see some deer in the yard but didn’t. Either they were up earlier than I or they couldn’t be bothered by a bunch of senior citizens gawking at them.

They really go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The place is secluded and beautiful yet 10 minutes max from Walmart. We stayed for a wedding and wished we had more time to enjoy the view and bonfire. I will be back so happy with our stay!!!

Thank you! We really do try to make sure you have everything you need. We've stayed in places where you have to bring your own bedding or there's only one kitchen towel for a week or not enough laundry soap. Family time
Great time had by all. We were able to have a nice family get together and enjoy the great outdoors. Did some kayaking and tubing down the river. Enjoyed the campfire and s’mores in the evening. Peaceful.

Cute and homey
The house is very cute and homey including an adorable lighted garland on the porch. The home although it has a lot of beds I would not consider it some thing for large groups as the house echoes a lot due to the all the hardwood so it can get very noisy and the beds were on the extra firm side the overall experience there was great we enjoyed it the only downside was that the kitchen and the grill were small so they were not truly designed for a large group (glad we brought our own grill) would definitely come back if it was just a small group of friends. Ps. The river was abundant with Crayfish.

The perfect place for all ages
When a daughter came through the door she said."This place is perfect." She had brought 2 kayaks; some of us made good use of the river but also found activities for all ages in the area - shooting range, mini golf, ice cream shop, churches, pizza/bar. There were many games, books, movies, etc available but we didn't need with the weather perfect. AC not needed! We wished we could have stayed longer. Thanks, Shannon.

What a wonderful retreat! The cabin is exactly as described, plus! Very secluded and peaceful.
We visited the end of April. Our trip was so enjoyable that we were fortunate to extend our stay. Communication with the owner was exceptional! We spent most of our time in the comfy and charming 4-season porch overlooking the Flambeau River. Definitely a great experience staying here! You won’t be disappointed!

Winter Wonder
This 2 story cabin is well-equipped, has set-apart spaces if quiet contemplation is needed; charming decorative touches, a large family gathering table for game playing and meals and a most delightful heated porch to gaze the river as it floats by. Beautiful winter solitude, quiet woods to explore, yet within minutes of local merchants if needed. You won't be disappointed!!

Great Property on the Flambeau
This is an excellent property with excellent owners. This was the perfect place to gather for our annual fall weekend trip. The property is exactly as described. We enjoyed waking up to coffee with a great view of the river. The location was great centrally located for our hiking trips on the Blue Hills and Chippewa Moraine sections of the Ice Age Trail and a kayak trip on the Chippewa River. The owners are great was were responsive to any questions we had. We most definitely will be back!

Incredible weekend
A fabulous get together of friends and family. The space is fantastic, and while the photos in the listing are good, they don’t do the space justice at all. The yard was perfect for yard games, and the river was nice and shallow for rock picking. The kitchen has EVERYTHING you could hope for. We ended up running to the store which was less than 5 minutes away for some salt and cooking spices (we didn’t notice the jar of salt in the cupboard, but overall would suggest bringing your own spices and butter if you need that kind of stuff for cooking). It was secluded enough that we felt comfortable playing music and having a lot of laughs. There was confusion about WiFi, the listing says it’s unavailable but we were able to connect easily. There is also a small television that we were unaware of, but that’s okay because we spent more time playing games than thinking of watching a movie or anything like that. An amazing space overall! And the responses for requesting a late check out was so quick! 10/10 would absolutely reccomend!

Cannot say enough good things about this place! The set up was perfect for our family of 5 + grandparents. Shannon was remarkably quick responding to emails regarding my random questions. Close to town to grab essentials, but far enough out of town to feel relaxed and remote. Cabin is stocked with a fun variety of games and movies (and coffee!!). Had a great time puttering around in our canoe on the river. BBQs and bonfires in the evening. Great jumping off point for daytrips in all directions. Everyone in our group just loved it, one of the best VRBO rentals we have stayed at.

Amazing cabin! Very clean and so many things available to use. I rented last year and at the last minute we had to cancel because of COVID. The host was great with the last minute changes and was super flexible! Highly recommend and would love to stay here again in the future!

Great location on the river
Had a great weekend here with friends. Kayaked on the Flambeau and played games at the big table. Had a great campfire complete with a full moon and howling coyotes! Property was clean and looked just like the pictures. Very quiet and secluded area.

Absolutely stunning cabin style home has everything you need for a family vacation. The river is a few rocky steps down from the backyard, which my parents couldn't navigate, but otherwise all is as described, very comfortable and convenient.
