Enjoyed having a restaurant that offered international food and Nigerian food. Staff was excellent! They were kind, friendly, and helpful. Looking to staying again. Bed was comfortable.

The staff were friendly and most were quite attentive and willing to help. The food was good. The rooms were clean and the beds (including pillows) were very comfortable but I had problems with the shower room. The shower cubicle itself was cleaned daily to a fairly good standard, but the walls of the shower room itself had stains on them, with cobwebs and dark smudges up in the corners close to the ceiling. The extractor fan did not work throughout my stay (and was not fixed despite being reported as faulty and being promised that it would be looked at) leaving me with no choice but to leave the window open.

The property is okay however there is no synergy between Expedia and the hotel, i was turned back for not having a reservation reason being that expedia was informed of no space and i was told. Very embarrassing and frustrating situation coming from a tired trip. 👎

Apologies for the no towel in the rooms; that must have been an oversight and is highly regretted. For the WIFI, its available both in the rooms and within the premises up to the swimming pool area; All you need is a code for the specific area you are working from. Thank you.

This hotel is being painted outside when the inside is below standard. Should have focused inside first. Broken doors, broken carpet splitters marked walls and damp intrusion on walls

It was a very bad experience.
Cooling function of the room AC didn’t work, it was very hot in my room. Visa card wasn’t acceptable at the restaurant, wanted to use cash to pay my beer but waiting cane back said no chance available. How disappointing.

My stay overall was very good the service from your staff was excellent, and the food service was good. Only observation I have after staying on more than one occasion is some rooms are better than others in the same category (some look fresh and appear refurbished while other are some what tired looking etc). Hence rooms are not consistent.

AVOID at 4* price. While this hotel "looks" like a 4-star on paper, in reality it is already badly dilapidated, with peeling wallpaper, broken furniture, warped and otherwise damages floors, poor restaurant. For the price stay at the much nicer Shoregate (still with some problems). Do not think you are finding a comparable to the Marriott or Radisson 4*s. At a 2*+/3* price this would be fine.

Customer service was remarkable by all personnel. Everyone was very helpful. I think they should have an area by the pool to grab pool towels of give pool towels in your room. Also treating the pool earlier so doesnt cut into daytime swimming

good hotel close to airport
was a last minute booking to be closer to the airport for our flight the next day. staff were pleasant overall except for a minor mishap with my reservation. a good experience overall and i’d book a room there again!

Pros: Very pleasant ambiance, especially in the outdoor seating area. Closely situated to the airport and nearby restaurants. The desk staff were extremely helpful. Cons: It was quite inconvenient that the telephones were not capable of dialing outside of the building! The late night wait staff in the kitchen were unresponsive, abrasive, and mildly extortive. Do not use the Elevator: its power went out while my friends were in it and they had to pry the doors open!

Nice clean, good food hotel
The only disappointed was transfer was not available at airport to take me to. I had to use local airport taxi. My overall experience at hotel was good. All in a very good quiet secure location. I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel facilities could use a bit of updating but the staff is great. My first room had a weak A/C which made things uncomfortable, but the staff immediately provided me with a new room with a powerful A/C (and larger!). I also had issues working my safe and the staff was responsive in sending someone to come help me. Overall - thank you Sojourner staff for making my stay smooth, comfortable and easy.

Great hotel in Lagos
I stayed at the Sojourner for about four night in early September 2017. It's very near the airport and about a 1/1.5 hr drive to Victoria Island through Lagos' traffic. The room was clean, comfortable and secure with a safe and minibar, tea and coffee facilities and a small bottle of mineral water was provided daily. There is a great swimming pool and sitting area as well as a good restaurant and a bar. The restaurant provides both European and Nigerian menus. I had all my meals there and was very satisfied. Buffet breakfast starts at 4:30 am which is very convenient for those with an early flight to catch or an early meeting in town. The staff was responsive and helpful. There is 24 hr security with staff scanning all incoming cars.
