The room that they gave us was noisy with constant loud construction and loud housekeeping next door and room has no windows or sunlight whatsoever, it’s basically basement in the back of the building. The WiFi didn’t work for the first 3 days either

This place was amazing, staff was very friendly, Mei at the front desk was one who really stood out to me by making me feel like I was at home with a few laughs and helped with whatever I needed! It gave the feel of a Westin or 4 seasons stay but saved the bank so I had more money to put towards activities on my vacation. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a place in Maui! We will be back, we’re hoping to make this a yearly trip to Kahana Falls.

While the property itself was ok. The room we were given was a postage stamp, so tight it was hard to move around, in the back corner of the property by the highway. I would not recommend.

Staff are amazing & so nice, waterfalls are amazing, lots to do within walking distance including the beach, price is reasonable, it's quiet compared to the big resorts on the beach. Love it here!

There were loungers around the very small pool, but they got sopping wet each time it rained. Room was represented to have a washer/ dryer and a lanai. Neither was present. There were tiny flies / bugs all over the kitchenette counter- hundreds of them. Room was cleaned three times during our 15 day stay. Maids were very nice when seen. There isn’t much in close walking distance. Small Window looked out on parking lot.

A good more affordable alternative to the expensive ocean-view hotels. Right on the Bus line to better beaches and historical Lahaina. I with there had been more than the one narrow window for more daylight in the room.

The property is nice and if you have a forward facing view, you can see the beach from the balcony. I had a one bedroom condo. It was really nice and clean. There's an adjoining room for those with large families or groups of people. I can walk across the street to the beach with black sand, which is different from other parts of the island! There's a restaurant across the street that has great food as well! Unfortunately, the door between the two condos is paper thin! So, you can clearly hear the other party! We had a discontented toddler next door. And when he cried it sounded like he was in our condo!

Even though this is an older property, it was well maintained and very clean. I especially appreciated the front desk accommodating our family checking in earlier than 3:00. And, when the TV in our bedroom was not working, they were very prompt in sending someone up to fix it. Overall, a very good vacation.

This is a great hidden Jem.

This property seems to be one of the oldest in the area and it shows everywhere. There are water damage marks everywhere from ceilings to fixtures. There are Ants in the room, like long columns of them. Our room had a very old split a/c which made lot of noise. Plus: - Price: It is well below the other resorts in the area - Location: It is quite. Walkable to couple of small beaches

A very nice property and well located for my needs. Surprised there was no daily housekeeping. Room was not available on time had to wait; also could not accommodate early or late check in/out. Minor 1st world problems. I understand the staffing issues.

We had an enjoyable stay. Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool and spa area were nice and the laundry facilities were free (if you didn’t have a washer and dryer in your room). There was beach access literally right across the street (less than 5 min walk) and the beach was very nice. By car you are only 10 min from all of the dining and shopping in Kaanapali and 15 or so to Lahaina. Cons: I think that I expected a little bit more in terms of the size of the room. It was a queen bed plopped in the middle with a sink, fridge, and microwave all lined up on one side of the bed instead of a nightstand. There were also two dining chairs agains the wall with a fold up table. Not sure where we would have put that if we had the need. While the room was clean, it was dated. There are bigger rooms there with full kitchens and living areas, so if that is what you are looking for, make sure that you ask for that. That was my fault. If I had it to do over again, I would get that type of room.
