Phenomenal Views, Great Unit
We’ve stayed at Lahaina Roads a few times over the years, the view can’t be beat - sunsets on the lanai always deliver! The unit itself is well kept, nice furnishings, stocked with anything you could possibly need. I’d say the 1st bedroom needs a King instead of a Queen but space is tricky in these units. No complaints, owners are very responsive and attentive. We’ll definitely be back!

Wonderful location and beautiful views
The condo was very well-appointed and clean. Parking was covered which was very nice. The pool looked new and there was always plenty of open chairs. We saw many turtles from the balcony during our stay which was a complete surprise. We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed the month we spent in unit #301. Being an end unit, it has south facing side windows making the space very bright. The west facing oceanfront lanai has incredible views. Everything we needed was supplied in the well equipped kitchen. Beach chairs & towels, boogie boards, coolers and beach toys were also supplied. A few things to know though is the parking spaces are incredibly tight. You may have trouble with a big SUV. Also the shower/tub, as shown in the listing, is quite high to get into. Would be tough for someone with mobility issues. Angie & Barry were very responsive to any questions we had and the check in/out process went smoothly. They even arranged a mid-visit cleaning/linen change which we really appreciate. The location is just north of Lahaina. 5 mins walk to nice restaurants like Honu, Mala, Star Noodle and the Old Lahaina Luau. A few minutes further to the grocery store and Cannery mall. We always walked when dinning in Lahaina which took about 20 mins. Great vacation in a great condo in beautiful Maui!

Amazing location with incredible ocean views!
We loved our stay in this vacation home in Maui! The unit is on the 3rd floor but there is an elevator to bring up all your luggage—they even have a dolly to use! The views in this end-unit were breath-taking!! We loved sitting on the lanai to watch whales breach and turtles swim by! The unit was clean and well decorated with ample kitchen supplies! There is A/C in each bedroom and the family room as well as fans in each room. There was a closet full of beach chairs, umbrella, snorkel stuff, beach toys, etc! Of note, the bathroom has a very tall tub that can be slippery, so be sure you are steady on your feet! The only drawback was the parking garage, which has *very* narrow parking spaces—we struggled to park every day in a compact SUV, having to either have the driver crawl through the passenger door vs. all passengers exit before parking. Definitely recommend a small sedan if staying here! The unit is just 5 minutes from Baby Beach and downtown Lahaina, where all the shopping and delicious restaurants are! The hosts were great—very prompt with their replies to any questions we had. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again next time we visit Maui!

Came across the country for first Hawaii vacation and was so thrilled when walked into our condo. It was better than the listing. Better than Kaanapali Resorts!
We chose this condo over a Kaanapali resort because of its location on the north side of Lahaina where our son lives. We did spend a day at Kaanapali, and we realized what a gem we had at Barry and Angie's place. The location is more convenient to attractions, restaurants, and just about everything. The view from this third floor corner unit is worth a million dollars, and is much better than almost all of the more expensive Kaanapali resorts. This place also has a tabletop scope for viewing whales and turtles. We spent a lot of time relaxing and enjoying the view from the lanai and the living room. The location in a residential area just a block or two from restaurants and grocery store was relaxing and uncrowded, especially as compared to Kaanapali. The condo is tastefully furnished, updated and comfortable. We found all the kitchen cookware, knives, etc. needed to prepare meals. Dish soap, hand soap, dishwasher tabs, and laundry soap were all supplied, as well as a starter supply of coffee. If this place is available for the dates you want, book it. You won't be sorry.

Unbelievable View!!!
the view. THE VIEW. the view. Just wow. The pictures genuinely don't capture the breathtaking view, it slaps you in the face when you first wake up. Absolutely stunning. Hosts were very communicative and overall we thought the location was fabulous (walkable to Safeway which was a game changer when traveling with a toddler) including close to great restaurants such as Mala, Star Noodle, and Fridas. Some things to note: 1. The door for the second bedroom is a pocket door with slats, so doesn't block a lot of light or sound. If you have a light sleeper in that room, important to note. 2. The bathroom also has slats so doesn't give a ton of privacy, but there's a loud fan that helps. 3. As everyone has stated, parking is VERY tight. Luckily we read reviews ahead of time so got a smaller rental car but we still had to get me and my toddler out of the car before parking. Small inconvenience, nothing big. 4. Rooms don't have a ton of extra space in them as they're pretty tight. Closets have household and beach items in them but there's a bit of space in each for your items. 5. The place was generally clean, but since it is a bit older unit by the water, I think it could do with a deep cleaning to get the floors and surfaces really clean. Particularly the bathroom (bathroom fan is pretty clogged). But those are just things to note it was a place with great hosts and an unbelievable view. I would sit on the balcony and watch turtles roll around in the mornings. Pool area was great, but does get hot as it's concrete. A/C works really well too.

Exactly what we came to Maui for.
The unit is lovely and comfortable, exactly as described and pictured. Everything you need for cooking and playing at the beach. The owner is very responsive, kind and helpful. There is a large sturdy nonslip platform for entering the raised tub, which is deep and has the reclining back perfect for people who like to relax and read in the tub. Right off the lanai is a reef that must be a limu buffet; we spent hours watching the turtles every day. Perfect for anyone who works too hard...get your cup of coffee or mai tai, sit in one of the comfy chairs, and let the sound of the waves, the scent of the plumeria tree, and the sloping outline of the island of Lana'i rising behind half a dozen sea turtles turn your brain's hyperactive treadmill into warm blissful goo. This condo is situated so that the other condos can't see into it; it's private and quiet. Residents were friendly and pool was nice. We loved every minute of our stay and hope to stay here again in the future.

Second time at Lahaina Roads, but first time in 301(2bedroom). Super quiet, but right on the waters edge. Turtles and other sea life 30 feet away. First class Hawaii sunsets, close to town for shops and restaurants. Everything in the room was as advertised, everything you need is in the unit. Responsive and considerate owners who obviously care about their guests. Can’t wait to return.

Can’t get much closer to the water than this condo, you see and hear the ocean from every room! Quiet building, elevator and AC a huge plus for us. Oceanfront pool area, private oceanfront lanai, comfortable beds, easy covered parking and washer/dryer in unit. For us just a bit far to want to walk to historic “downtown” Lahaina district (which is why this property has a quiet neighborhood feel) but quick and easy to drive and park there. Super close stroll to Safeway, Starbucks and Cannery Mall shops plus several nice water front restaurants.

This was a great location! Beautiful lanai overlooking the ocean. Well equipped with everything!
We enjoyed the quiet location, but in walking distance to bustling downtown Lahaina! Great restaurants are even closer than downtown - but our favorite “dinner out was using the BBQ by the pool and watching the sunset! Overall impressions
The property was clean and everything we needed was there. Its location is stunning. However, given the cost, there are issues. The bright work desperately needs painting, but the primary issue concerns the shower/bathtub. We are all in our late seventies and two in our group could not safely climb into it to shower. I think it should be rebuilt, but at the least permanent grab bars should be installed. Currently, there are two stick-on grabs, but they are downright dangerous because they become lose after only a few minutes - a lawsuit waiting to happen.

In our property description under Unit Amenities, it is stated that ***-Please note that the tub/shower area is raised (refer to photo)***. Hence, it is fully disclosed and in the photo we have circled the tub area to point out that it is indeed a raised tub. There is a custom step provided for ease of entering and exiting the tub. Many times our guests overlook important details that may more specifically assist their needs in booking their stay. It is also important to note that the two guests that were not able to manage the tub were a last minute change/addition of guests. Lastly, we will consider adding a permanent grab bar and a remodel is in our future plans. Mahalo, Barry & Angie

Listing is accurate. Wonderful views. Lots of USB ports and outlets in living room. Wi-Fi and TV work wonderfully. A/C is ice cold and the kitchen is super clean. The complex has a woman who takes care of the common areas. She is very helpful and keeps the complex clean and tidy. The pool and pool area are extremely clean and well kept. If you pay close attention to the details in the listing you will not be disappointed. We will definitely stay here again. We felt very safe at this location. We ubered into Lahaina for approx $8.00 each way. Parking in town is a hassle and costs $15.

Aloha! My family really enjoyed our stay in Barry and Angie‘s Lahina condo during my daughter’s spring break for school. Everything was as advertised in the listing and the owners were easy to communicate with. Best of all was the epic view with the islands of Lanai and Molokai in the distance, and the great location with the famous Old Lahaina Luau just a couple of blocks away. A real Lahaina gem! We would definitely stay here again!

What A Great Spot-Location, Location, Location!!!
If you don’t grab this place your silly! Barry and Angie, wonderful people the view is amazing, the condo is great, well put together, nicely arranged and comfortable! Look out the back, look left and look right! End Unit so you wake up to Palm Trees, Ocean Waves, and Groove! The pool is great the neighbors are pleasant, we had a great time sharing stories and making memories!. Hit Mala Ocean Tavern for breakfast or lunch—you walk it and it’s fantastic and sought after! Food, groceries, beverarages and Downtown Lahaina right down the road! Enjoy it like we did!

Wonderful view
We changed where we normally stayed and were happy we did so as we loved this location! All day saw whales, turtles, fish and birds! Close to the marina so saw a lot of boats as well. The grounds were well kept and the pool was very enjoyable! The condo met all our needs and we were quite happy! Even the beds were comfortable! Highly recommend!

Condo Building Problems
I rented this condo with an elevator being provided as the high priority! Both my husband (not in great health) and I are in our mid 70's and my aunt in her mid 80's. Upon our arrival to the condo building, discovered an "Elevator Not Working" sign on the door. Meeting a neighbor in the parking garage when we arrived, she told us that the elevator had not been working for the previous 2 weeks! The maintenance men told us it could be another 2-3 weeks for repairs. We should have been notified by the owners of this problem to allow us to make other arrangements! It was a major hardship carrying 4 heavy suitcases and groceries up 3 flights of stairs! Especially since my aunt is limited in her walking capabilities. She had to stay with my sister in another condo building for our first 3 days until my sister left her vacation condo. Also, the bathroom fan was tremendously loud and appeared to be a fire hazard, filled with dust. And the dinette chairs were stained and very dirty! On the upside, the towels, bedding and the beds were extremely comfortable! Leaving all the windows open at night allowed all the lovely nighttime breezes to flow through the condo. One thing I did notice in the website pictures, there was a clock missing from the kitchen wall when we arrived. This was our first vacation since 2018 to Hawaii and first ever to Maui. Just disappointed that we did not get what we paid for. I felt sorry for the neighbors above us on the 4th floor walk up. But their condo owner discounted their stay for the elevator not working. We were so excited for our long awaited vacation, until we arrived. Plus, do not rent a large mini van or suv, as we did! The garage spaces are very narrow and difficult to maneuver in and out of.

We just can’t say enough about this space! The balcony overlooking the water with boats provided an incredible backdrop to the end of each day as we watched the sun set. And such a great location! We wanted to be away from the “Disneyland” portion of the Kanapali coast, closer to the town of Lahaina but close enough to use the walking path for our morning walks. There is a convenient Safeway practically across the street. The amenities were spot on including the nice welcome basket with some coffee for the first morning. Everything you need is in the kitchen if you wish to cook. They provide chairs and towels if you want to go to the beach (the public park is a short walking distance). The place is quiet. Peaceful. Just perfect!

Loved the Ocean front!!
The ocean front view was amazing! The hosts had a ton of beach towels, beach chairs, snorkels, etc for us to use! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and living room was really nice. I would definitely stay again! We were less than 5 mins walks from great restaurants. Safeway was close by too, probs a 7-8 mins walk. The parking garage is good too. The parking spaces are a bit small but do-able!

Fantastic!

Amazing views
The property was awesome! The AC can be a little noisy on the the lanai and you have to do a little searching for switches, otherwise everything was perfect for us. We had 3 adults and an infant. The amenities were nice. The pack and play fit. And baby beach was a great spot for us.

What a great location!
We had an amazing vacation at Lahaina Roads. The location was perfect within walking distance to Lahaina town and a short drive to Kaanapali. We watched beautiful sunsets from our balcony and saw several turtles swimming. Barry and Angie were great and were always there to answer our questions. Thanks for an amazing family vacation!

Great unit; excellent location! Loved the view from the deck. The property is a little dated but our unit was just fine. The unit owners are wonderful to deal with. We will be back.

Pure WOW!!
Aloha, This amazing, comfortable, big, fully equipped house is at the perfect location in West Maui. Walking distance to Lahaina downtown, beautiful Hawaii sunsets from the lanai, the soothing sounds of the waves, watching turtles from the lanai, nice clean oceanside pool...was all just WOW. Barry and Angie were very kind hosts with excellent communication. We will definitely come back again. We loved every moment while there. Mahalo!!

The complex was wonderful, the pool, the turtles and yes a couple of whales still out there! Unit 301 was absolutely amazing, the sunsets off that lanai, ohlala! Walking distance to everything!

Our April 2021 stay
The property was excellent in every way. Clean and well appointed on our arrival. Entry and access was well explained. The kids loved the pool and watching the turtles from the balcony. Definitely 100% recommend this property to anyone wishing to stay in the Lahaina area.
