Right in downtown Reno, big complex or just a tall building, room is a little small but comfortable. Easy access to museums and river walk. Very quiet, good value.

Great little hotel, Paul and his wife the owners are always onsite, and it shows in how they take care of their guests they are long time locals and can give guidance for dining and activities. For skiers the location cannot be beat, the longest part 3 min of the walk to the gondola is waiting for the light to change. Rooms are great good beds ... an comfortable.. and you can walk anywhere in south lake tahoe in a minutes... as for value .. it can't be beat..

Classic small motel, it’s just a few steps from many good eateries and shops. Room is newly renovated, bathroom is huge and nice! Few cons though: - queen room is really tiny - it’s not really soundproof, we could hear the noises behind the wall - bed was not comfortable and we had 3 pillows for 2 people. It could be great to have 2 for each person Overall it’s a good option for one night and great value for money!

Pro: staff and location Con: super tiny, no amenities, a little smelly, uncomfortable bed, small parking, next to the main street, overpriced. The only good thing about this is that it’s 5 mins walk to the Gondola, nothing else. The room and bed were so small and uncomfortable we could not sleep well both nights. And the heater/conditioning was so loud. Paid over $500 for two nights.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, and everything worked well. The couple who own or manage it (not sure which) were very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint had to do with the parking, and that was only due to being there during the worst storm of the year. Having to uncover and dig out our vehicle and wait for the snow plow to clear the parking lot was a hassle. However, the hotel staff did work hard to assist with this all day long.

One of the best budget lodging options in South Lake Tahoe. Room with the bunk bed add on is a great option for those with kids. Walk to heavenly with all your gear on and make it back to the room for lunch.

A small motel. Due to location, being walkable distance to The ski resort, we booked it. We had some reservation being a motel but it exceeded our expectation as it was clean and upgraded to modern styling. It had additional bunk bed which our kids really enjoyed as if we were at a cabin house. It was very close to the ski resort and shopping area we’re at a walking distance. It’s right next to a small gas station but location seems safe. We had to go to the front desk few times, as conditioner and body wash containers were empty and only one toilet paper was provided. But the Front desk lady is very friendly and apologetic and very prompt to respond. Parking is free. With family, would probably stay in a more family friendly place next time but for others, price and location seem a good bargain.
