“We did not have a good stay. Place was overgrown, no good fan during extreme heat wave, no shade for the window that got sun at 4:45 am, tv was broken, didn’t have K cups in the room for coffee maker, didn’t even put enough toilet paper in our room for us to get through the night. Was not represented well from pictures.”

“It is a older motel with some rooms remodeled. Great to put your head down for the night. We only stayed 1 night, on arrival got changed and went out, came back to sleep and leave first thing in the AM. Suited my needs”

“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Nice, quiet tucked away in the woods but close enough to restaurants and various other creature comforts in nearby Bar Harbor. I even extended my stay by a day and that was also hassle free. Y’all rock!”

“Our stay at the Cleftstone was wonderful. This inn made us feel like we stepped back in time when we arrived. The architecture was so cute inside and out. The staff was very kind and accommodating- though we didn’t take full advantage of that or the amenities because we were mostly gone out exploring in Bar Harbor. The only complaint we have was the WiFi is spotty at best in room 3. I know we were in Maine to escape the normal day to day and our phones but the WiFi didn’t even support the smart……

“This was the most lovely New England room and home. We truly had an amazing time. Right next to a ton of lovely breakfast spots, ample parking, and about a 25 minute drive from Acadia. Would highly recommend!”

“Rented a cabin for the long weekend. NOT what we expected based on the online pics of the cabins. Did not have the "Maine cabin" vibe at all - more like 1980s RV interior design. Vertical blinds on sliding doors were missing some sections so no real privacy. Bed was very uncomfortable. Hot water lasted about 3 mins, so showering or washing dishes was tricky - to say the least. Not so friendly RV "neighbors" who felt it ok to have a projected light show, and be loud and obnoxious past 10 pm. We……
