Terramor Outdoor Resort

10/10 Excellent
"Our family truly enjoyed our stay at Terramor! The first night, we ate at the lodge and the food was great. The wings are a must have! Meaty and spicy! They also had gluten free flatbread that was nice and crispy. Our meal was complete with local beer and some Shirley temples. The location is perfect-close to Bar Harbor, Cadillac Mountain, Thunder Hole, and Jordan Pond. Everything was just a short drive away. They do have a shuttle stop, but we did not use it. The pool was great in the afternoon and the lodge had kid friendly activities like s'more's night in the evening. The accommodations had everything we needed. The room bathroom was clean and the beds were comfortable. The ambiance made the tent cozy and warm. With that said, it is definitely a platform tent. There are gaps where bugs can enter. This didn’t bother my family, but I have friends who would not have considered this glamorous enough to be “glamping.” Perhaps our favorite amenity was the breakfast each morning! Fresh coffee and a continental breakfast at the lodge before you start your day. The options included fresh pastries fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, and various cereals for the kids. Not only were the food options perfect, but the space itself is fabulous. Eat inside or on the deck and plan your day ahead. The staff were all so kind and gave great recommendations about hiking trails, restaurants with good gluten free food, and ideas for activities. Everyone we spoke to was personable and helpful."
