At the top of Mt Battie in Camden, Maine is this tower, constructed in 1921 as a WWI Memorial. There used to be a hotel on this site, but it was torn down in 1920. The tower was built on the site on the former hotel, and several stones from the hotel were used in the construction of the tower. There's a rather strenuous hike to the top of the mountain, but you can also drive right to the top within Camden Hills State Park. #mabattie #camden #camdenhills #maine #sunset #tower #goldenhour

"We had such a wonderful stay. The property was spacious, cozy, and the window seating was unbelievably comfortable—perfect for everyone to relax and spread out. We hosted an early Thanksgiving dinner with family (and our two dogs!) and had plenty of room.The kids played hide and seek for hours and were completely entertained, which made it even more enjoyable for all of us.We even walked over to Paperplane for a pre-dinner cocktail, which had such a great vibe and was a bonus not having to drive.Ana, the host, was fantastic and incredibly accommodating, which made the stay even better.Overall, a fantastic experience.
