"New Lake Cabin in an Incredibly Quiet Setting"

"The cabin was great, the only issue was getting my dually Ram 3500 to and boat backed in the driveway. The neighbors across the street was very friendly and let me pull into their driveway a little. This helped a lot. My wife and I loved the cabin."
Lodge at Lake Guntersville State Park

"My college friend and I "met in the middle" and stayed here for the weekend. We loved our lake view room at the lodge. The view was so wonderful! Everyone was kind and helpful. We wish there was map that had the property and the hiking trails. We did use both maps, but the hiking map doesn't show where the lodge or front entrance is for reference. We went to the seafood buffet with a reservation on Friday. The food did not look appealing on the buffet and some of it wasn't good at all- shrimp and grits primarily. The veggies didn't look good but tasted good. We enjoyed the gumbo and the fried shrimp. For the charge, we were disappointed. We would order from the menu next time."

"This place is nice, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The host communicated promptly and provided great assistance when needed. This place is 17 miles from the Sand Mountain amphitheater which allowed us time to enjoy the lake, walking trails and attend our concert!"

"Communication with the host was excellent. Cabin was very peaceful and quiet. Bed was wonderful! As an 80 year old disabled veteran family we totally enjoyed the peace and quiet and security of the cabin. While at the cabin which was next door to Wintzell’s. My wife enjoyed the grouper nuggets and I had the blackened snapper."
