Its been 10 years since Ive stayed at the formerly known as Bally's. I am pleased. Our king bed resort room was spacious w a beautiful view of the Paris hotel for our 1 night stay on a Monday. It was mostly clean. There was a spot of a previous guests' lipstick by the vanity counter and dust in the corners but it wasnt a big deal, just an observation. The linens were crisp and clean, bed was comfortable, temperature adjustable to our liking. Price was super acceptable. The lobby allowed smoking but it wasnt intolerable and there is a signature smell to the lobby that is really pleasing. Location is central to a lot. I would definitely stay again.

The horseshoe hotel and casino(Ballys) is a great location on the strip. Right by caesars palace and the bellaigo. Plenty of places to grab a quick bite to eat inside and out. The rooms/hallways were a bit outdated but they were still nice rooms. The hotel staff was very nice especially the cleaning staff.

Location is good. Newish carpet in big room. Clean. No coffee maker in room. Casino employees are rude. Bartenders are rude and short pour cocktails that they dont know how to make. Everything's overpriced, resort fees and parking are ridiculous. Elevators need to be serviced.

During our stay the housekeeping was not the best but tolerable. One day when we returned to the room after the convention, housekeeping had been through the room. They did not replace towels or really make the beds and they did not take out the garbage. I noted my eye glasses were not on the stand were I had left them. So I checked the garbage, our suitcases and under the beds. That is when I noted the severely neglected areas under the beds. But after contacting hotel management I never was returned my eye glasses. I wear contacts lenses so have these for at night in the room only. This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel for this convention and no it isn't getting better. No would not stay there again after this experience. Why would someone take my glasses?
