A nice venue and the room was excellent, however i did have a renovated room, theonly downside is not down to the hotel but the roadworks in the area whihc meant, detours to get to and from it.

Beware, hotel is nothing like in the pictures, very small room and bathrooms Cleanliness isn’t great but I’ve seen worse Pool is tiny, and food is ok Grand hotel if ur travelling and need somewhere to stay at short notice

Basic but good.
Basic hotel but the rooms are clean and spacious and the restaurant is good. Plenty of free parking. Ideal for an overnight stop over.

We arrived late and there was 24 hour reception which after a long drive was fantastic and we were well looked after. The rooms were lovely, clean and we slept like babies! We were only there en route, but the outside pool looked lovely and there was also a gym. Good security overnight with an electric gate closing so we felt our car was safer.

On arrival we weren't sure if the hotel was actually open, it looked somewhat deserted. It was however open and in the middle of some renovations. We checked in but discovered we had been given the wrong room, so returned to reception, where our room was then changed. Disappointed to find out pool was closed and only found out on asking. Basic room and facilities - 1tea bag

Good convenient hotel for Expo centre
Clean and friendly hotel with lots of parking space. Room spacious although bed was too close to wall. Restaurant could do with more choices

Base for visiting 1st world war sites
We traveled for the armistice day centenary Perfect location for all cemeteries and monuments Not a lot of to do locally, that said I would definitely stay again

Used for a stop over while traveling
Quite a large hotel just off the motorway. We could not use the restaurant due it being Sunday night and staff levels were low, we did eat at the hotel from a small menu and this was fine. Staff are helpful and polite but once at the hotel you are there. Not much around it but fine for one night.

Nice, affordable hotel
We were a quick overnight stay on a road trip through Europe. The front desk staff were very nice and professional. There was something wrong with the card scanner to make us a key so instead had to go and open the door for us every time. The first room they gave us was in a state of disrepair (the bed literally broke when I sat on it) but the second was nice. The pool was nice, but cold. Overall a nice place for a quick trip.

In need of refurbishment!
Pros: Friendly staff, good gym and sauna and good price. Cons: Leaking loo, broken kettle, bed with a couple of broken slats - all fixed promptly. There was no safe, the carpet was old, the fridge was a bit dirty, it was also dirty behind furniture. The pool was cold and a bit dirty. The location was isolated and next to a building site - you need a car. There were no maps, etc. In need of refurbishment!!

Comfortable transit stay.
Very pleased, easy to find. Staff lovely, helpful and would stay again. Only one hours drive from the ferry at Dunkirk.
