Dear Anonymous Guest, First of all, we would like to thank you for acknowledging the fact that the apartment you have stayed is true to description and photos. We are also happy you have found our owner to be accessible and friendly and appreciated the location of our lodgings. Although the complex building was constructed in the 80's - we will respectfully disagree with you about it being in a bad shape. In effect, the grand majority of our guests are captivated by its architecture, consider it to be vintage and congratulate us on its maintenance and cleanliness. We regret that the exterior failed to live up to your expectations. It should be underscored, however, that pictures of the building are included in our gallery. As far as the amenities are concerned, these happen to be of an internationally acclaimed brand: PRIJA which is used in 5* hotels, and you surely not have found them in cheap places, a rather unfair comment you have made. We take pride in being a value-for-money destination to many travelers, and certainly not a cheap place. Thank you for posting a review Mr. Stuart, and for acknowledging the fact that the apartment was clean and tidy. We are sorry you felt it was pricey compared to other lodgings in the area. Respectfully, we disagree about that. In fact, we take pride in that we are far less expensive compared to competition in the area. You had paid EUR115,00 for 2 nights in a one-bedroom apartment (50 sqm in size). We would like to point out, that we have 3 more one-bedroom apartments in addition to the one you booked, at the same complex, all of which have a more modern décor, and are more upscale in general. This fact is naturally reflected in their rate. Please note that there are several photos for each of our lodgings on the Expedia platform, both of the interior and the exterior of the building, so that the prospective guests know what to expect. We always aim to deliver a great experience to our guests and we regret we didn't meet your expectations. Hi Kim and thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback and for thinking that our apartment is FABULOUS! I have personally checked the "not so fabulous" points you raised in your review and liaised with the Administrator, Mr. Olymbios who had welcomed you, so that I can get a full picture and have all the information. Having done all that, I'd like to inform you about the following: 1) The PINBALL machine is working perfectly. You simply had to SWITCH IT ON. It's a real pity you've missed that, since we offer the usage of the pinball machine free of any charge. In other words, you don't have to insert any coins, and you can play all that you want - FOR FREE. The Administrator had urged you to reach out, should you had any queries or needed anything that would make your stay more enjoyable. He's given you his number, he's living at the complex and he's also reachable via Whatsapp / Viber. 2) Indeed, the light bulbs on the bicycle are not working - one of them was burned probably before you arrived, as I had checked with our Housekeeper who confirmed that 2 days ago, they were functioning as they should. So, please accept our apologies for that. Since you only stayed for one night, it would have been hard for us to change it, but make no mistake about it, it is being taken care of as we speak. 3) As far as the TV is concerned, true, only local channels - as lucidly stated in the description of the apartment's facilities online. We are not contending to offer something that we are not. Luckily, even local channels air movies which are in English, so I'm hoping you've managed to find something to please you. Furthermore, the TVs in the apartment happen to be SMART TV's (also clearly laid out in our description), which means that you could have connected either of them with a phone or an ipad and watch whatever it is you would have liked to. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to explain these issues online, for other prospective customers to read, before making a reservation. Although, I think that a 6 for a FABULOUS apartment is a bit "frugal" - I decide to keep the FABULOUS on the title you've come up with, WITHOUT THE "BUT"! Dear guest, It would have been beneficial to our business to leave your comments too, so as to realize exactly what it was you hadn't enjoyed during your stay, to justify the low rating you have given us. It is our understanding that you had personally not made a reservation with us, but were part of a group who had re-assured our Administrator at the complex during your stay and at check-out that everything was perfect. We are sorry you felt the urge to downgrade our efforts to assist you and offer free cancellation to the other party of your group, despite the fact that his reservation was non-refundable, because he contracted Covid19. The least you could do was let us know the reason for your dissatisfaction.
