“Lovely food and pub! Must visit”

“The reason I haven’t scored 5 is that Expedia sold us a room that had issues with noise / cooking smells as it’s above the kitchen and is noisey and smelly when the staff are cooking. We stayed in a room named Helvellyn and Expedia didn’t state any issues with any rooms. If we had booked direct with the queens head it details the room helvellyn as having issues with noise etc due to it’s proximity to the kitchen. I think Expedia have been misleading not detailing the facts about that particular……

“Dust on lamps and carpet, except the cleanliness issue, everything is fine.”

“Another great stay at Three Shires. Although a limited evening menu, food was delicious. Breakfast was the same, maybe put out juices and jams so people can help themselves. Didn’t mind that there wasn’t cereals as the portion of breakfast was huge. Big shout out to the staff”

“Friendly helpful staff. Great beer and ale selections.”

“The Inn itself is lovely and great location, however there was no heating or hot water, and we checked in after getting caught in the rain on a long walk on a cold day so were really looking forward to a hot shower! There was no communication from staff about this, and no apology in the morning. Unfortunately this ruined what I’m sure would have otherwise been a lovely stay.”
