Another great stay at Three Shires. Although a limited evening menu, food was delicious. Breakfast was the same, maybe put out juices and jams so people can help themselves. Didn’t mind that there wasn’t cereals as the portion of breakfast was huge. Big shout out to the staff
Great stay, very welcoming , very tranquil location with a beautiful view, food is somewhat expensive but it's out on the sticks so expected
Staff - George very welcoming nothing was too much and the short young lady very polite
All the staff we met were great, cheerfull helpfull and polite. The room was clean and comfortable and what one expects in a very old building. Only 4 stars for 2 reasons the shower only worked on the large head and the food choices were very limited both in the restaurant and at breakfast. No salads and limited vegetables in restaurant. No fruit or cereal at breakfast. The hotel is remote which is part of it's appeal for us so going out in the evening is not an option,I would have struggled with finding a third evening meal.
The hotel is beautifully situated on the side of a peaceful valley . Lots of lovely walks around.
Great food , friendly service, beautifully furnished. Heartily recommended!
I had a lovely stay at The Three Shires Inn which is in the lovely, quiet spot in the middle of the countryside. Loved seeing the mountains and sheep.
I would highly recommend.
Excellent break in quiet corner of the lakes . Staff were excellent as was the hotel and our room

Room was spotless and very spacious. Bathroom modern and shower worked great. Plenty of walking routes from the hotel and a warm welcoming log fire to return to after a good days walking. Food was very well presented and tasty. Special mention to the lovely staff, very pleasant and nothing too much trouble.
Absolutely fabulous overnight stay. The place is spotless, the food was amazing. Rooms modern and comfortable despite it being a beautiful old building. Customer service was great too. Couldn’t ask for anything more.
We had a friendly welcome at the hotel from the staff. Located in the Langdales with beautiful scenery. We had dinner on 2 evenings and the room had everything you could want plus a bit of space- lovely!
Stunning and peaceful location. We had dinner and breakfast, and both were delicious with locally sourced produce. The suite was lovely with a private patio next to a running stream. Highly recommend
