“Unbelievable apartment!!! What a find, from the moment I found The Rockefeller on Expedia to arrival through to the end of the stay everything was the best!! Not going to gointo much detail as wouldn’t want to ruin anybody else’s experience but I will say you won’t be disappointed, everything about the apartment is funky, design led and luxurious from the furnishings to the artwork and even the kitchen and bathroom are of the highest spec. The apartment (Wainwright) beyond exceeded my expectations! Beautifully appointed, stunningly decorated, and so incredibly thoughtfully put together. The dog welcome box was a really sweet touch. “This is an excellent house in superb state of repair with very good quality furniture. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The booking process was simple and Martin Wardle of the agents was extremely helpful. The house is situated in a village which is very near Kendal, the lakes and just over one hour to the Solway coast. There are some very good dining places in the area with our favourite being The Watermill Inn which has its own micro brewery producing very tasty beers. All in all……

“A truly wonderful home away from home in a beautiful location. Lois was tremendously accomodating throughout the entire process. We had the main house and adjoining cottages for a group of 18. The house is well sized for a large group, the bedrooms are all decent sizes, multiple bathrooms and maintained to a good starndard. The house is full of character, loved the fireplace in the main lounge and all the amenities even for children. Would recommend for anyone looking a for special place to……
