The towels were sandpaper! They looked like Motel 6 Towels and the toilet paper was like Scott Paper. Sorry Holiday, not staying here again!

We do apologize for the cable not working. We called our provider and they have been out all weekend working on the issue. We will address the bathroom issues with housekeeping and engineering. When we arrived at the room it was dark with a heavy perfumed smell which was probably to cover smoking odor? For three adults staying four days we were provided a total of two coffee pods (one regular and one decaf) and three towels. When I inquired I was told Oh, this is a holiday inn, you have to go to a holiday inn express to have your room done. This was ironic since I selected a holiday inn thinking it would be a cut above the motel 6’s. In all interactions the staff and management were pleasant and helpful. Even when we decided to check out a day early.

We checked in under my daughter reserv. not being told this could not happen as she had paid for her stay and we had not yet. We had not realized Lincoln area has basically gone to cc only for hotels. I was there in Lincoln for a Heart procedure and we came back to the room as I needed to stay for one more night just in case there were issues and rest before the long drive home to find out they had packed all of our belongings in trash bags and locked us out of the hotel. The manager or whomever as she never identified herself came at me telling me I had signed in under someone else and etc. I said yes I signed my signature and gave my vehicle information and gave my credit card information as I told the clerk we would need another night added to the reservation. The individual told me it was wrong and I said well the clerk never said a word when I checked in, and she said there was some information that wasn’t relayed right but we could not stay. I am fuming at this point, I went to my husband who pulled the vehicle around and they pulled the cart out to wherever they had it and gave it to me and I just said to the lady just so you know “I just got done having a heart cath done” her mouth dropped and she said well I hope you get along okay… Um, no I ended up in Kearney the next day, so tell me how this is right? I expect an apology. Not my fault staff isn’t aware of policies. I used to work for Holiday Inn many moons ago and don’t think their ethics has changed.

Had a great check in, the lady at the front desk did an awesome job. Rooms are nice. Only complaint is parking-stalls are not big enough for pickups and suvs.

The room was very spacious and location was close to restaurants and shopping. When I checked in, I noticed hairs in the bathroom sink so I went and pulled back the bedding and found hairs in the bed as well so I requested a different room which they gave me. Upon checkout, I asked for a receipt and they said one could not be provided, I would have to get one from Expedia. It didn’t make sense to me that they could swipe my credit card at check in but not provide a receipt at checkout.

Thank you for your feedback, we strive to provide the best service possible. We are sorry for inconvenience with your room, but happy that we were able to promptly resolve the issue. We are unable to provide receipts from third party bookings because the hotel does not actually take payment from your card, the third party site does. The hotel swipes your card as an incidental hold that we release upon check out. Your third party booking site should be able to provide a receipt for you. We hope to see you the next time you're in town!

The staff at the hotel were friendly but we did have to switch rooms. The original room smelled when we entered it and the bathroom/toilet hadn’t been cleaned. The walls were not clean in the room and the furniture and wall paper throughout were peeling.

Hotel cleanliness and maintenance really starting to show signs of neglect. No big ten network or PBS. Couldn’t even watch high school championship games or husker basketball.

We’ve stayed here quite a few times and noise is always a problem from other neighbors. It’s like they need to add insulation or weather stripping around the doors? I bring white noise but even that can’t drown it out. The other issue is a ventilation problem in the bathroom. The bathroom doors are auto closing which is annoying, but the big problem this causes is the bathroom has a musty/mildew odor. The ventilation fans in the bathrooms are also pretty much non-functional.

Best I can tell this property has not upgraded its TVs and their small sizes for many years. That sets a tone of dated when entering the rooms and is annoying when watching sporting events during stays.
