“This cabin was the perfect getaway! Tucked away on the Wisconsin River, it’s private, peaceful, and full of charm. The porches were a favorite spot—we ate lunch overlooking the water, birdwatched (spotted over 10 species!), and enjoyed the beautifully lit backyard in the evenings. “Check in with Mike was simple because he communicated with us 24 hours before we arrived with a code. The kitchen facilities were wonderful with a grill on the deck. The bedrooms were clean, spacious and well appointed with each bedroom having its own bathroom. The access to a relaxing lake place with an opportunity for our grandchildren to fish from the dock and enjoy games of ping pong was the highlight for our family, along with making s’mores around the fire pit in the evening. “The Amherst Riverdance Cabin is a lovely, unique surprise tucked away in the country, amongst trees, a prairie, and a winding river. The cabin was decorated with many surprise items and was clean, comfortable, and homey. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit and relaxing on the back porch. We would definitely come again! ”

“For the price of the room this place was great. It had everything you needed. It doesn't have a lot of extras. Granted it's not a five-star hotel but it had a TV, it had a makeshift fireplace, and a cabinet. It had a nice desk/table, mini refrigerator, microwave. The room was not perfect as far as the walls there's some spots that might need to be painted but to me that's nothing. The bed was nice and comfortable no lumps. Overall it was a nice stay.
