A Solar Eclipse and some Wine!!!!
We planned this for the Eclipse and it was perfect. The house was exactly what we were looking for. It was very clean and had information on local winery's. The beds were very comfortable. We had a great time.

Nephew's wedding
Perfect size for our group: 3 related couples in town for the wedding of a nephew. Closeness of the road was not an issue due to it being summer and we were running the room air conditioners and they provided sufficient white noise.

Fabulous
Family weekend getaway. The rooms all have queen or double beds. I thought one room would have 2 singles, but the couch is a pull out so it worked out. Communication with Sally was top notch! The location was perfect for us, the house was easy to find and access, property was clean and the bed I was in was very comfy. I would definitely stay here again!

My stay in Lockport New York
I found the home to be very clean and comfortable. I was charged a 50.00 cleaning fee for "crumbs" on the Kitchen floor and a Water bottle under the bed. There was a complaint about a bedspread that couldn't be washed where the washer and Dryer was not available as advertised to be able to do laundry. But overall a beautiful home.

Great location for local tourism.
The property is very cute and quaint and clean. It was in the perfect location to enjoy the history of Lockport, Youngstown, and Niagara Falls. The only difficulty we experienced was the level of traffic noise--fortunately, we packed noisemakers enough for the additional rooms and we adults utilized the provided earplugs. We could still hear the traffic but it was tolerable.

Overall it was good. There was a Box Elder bug infestation along with stink bugs. Yuck! The whole house was crawling along with the door which had so many you couldn't open the door. I am glad we are not tooo squeamish. Would have been good to know about. I know you can not control them unless you cutt down a tree. Which I hate to do. The home was comfortable. Clean. Would have liked to use the washer and dryer but was unable. Would have great after going to Niagara and had soaked clothes. It was our last stop before home so really no biggie. Just would have been nice to know. Just as it would have been good to know its next to a pretty busy road. Be safe. Overall, good. It has the best stars at night! Go outside on the patio and try to do some star gazing.

Sorry about the harmless box elder bug invasion. They were not on house the day before so I couldn’t warn you. We do not own the tree otherwise I would love to cut the tree down. They come out for a short period in spring and this warm October. I would have gladly let you use the washing machine that is available in the basement had my phone had service when you texted me. I take pride in my house being clean as you can read from my other reviews

No so far from the falls and really good price!
We enjoyed our weekend. The house was pretty cool. And it had some space outside. Everything was clean. Only one thing wasn't nice, but anyway it's okay - there was 9nly one bathroom. Although we were only a night, I can say that It was worth while.

Charming house with everything you need
We had a nice stay in this beautifully decorated home while we visited the Niagara Falls area. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided. The beds were also quite comfortable. I appreciated that the linens were soft and clean but didn't smell like the horrible perfumey drier sheets or fabric softener that some people use. The back patio area was not pictured online but we enjoyed it. There's a nice table that seats six, overlooking the back yard. It looks like Sally is in the process of making some further improvements to the back yard area. My only negative at all about the house would be that, even with the air conditioners going, the rooms were a little warm at night. I'm not sure why because during the day, the air conditioners seemed to function well to cool the rooms and it's hotter during the day. Regardless, there are also ceiling fans, so we were just fine. We would definitely stay again. Regarding communication with the owner, it was perfectly adequate. Everyone is different, and Sally wasn't verbose or flowery, but all necessary information was provided and communicated and there were no problems. I would have given communication a 4 1/2 if I could but it's either 4 or 5. Thanks for a nice stay.

Family loved house, cozy and comfy. Great getaway for kids as they were able to remote school in the morning and go play / do activities in the afternoon. Easy ride to Niagara Falls. Nice backyard space. Cleaned up a little on arrival. Owner responds quickly. Kids were happy and safe.

Cute home
This was a great alternative to staying in Niagara proper - 20 minutes from the park in a beautiful area. The house was great for the 2 of us - clean, nice finishes and Sally was super helpful. Would definitely recommend it!

Two week winter visit
We had a great stay here. We came for two weeks over Christmas, so my experience is probably a bit different than most. I was worried about the snow since I haven't lived in it for 15 years, but the driveway was plowed when we arrived and the sidewalks shoveled. Sally had even decorated the house for Christmas, which was above and beyond. She was very easy to communicate with and answered a number of questions for me before our arrival.

It was a nice place for family vacation.
Ms Sally is very cooperative, my family really enjoyed a stay in the house, especially my kids. They loved the huge backyard, spent time watching netflix and the kids games. Entry to basement would have been more convenient, otherwise overall nice place and location.

The house was very nice, clean and described truthfully. I didn't like how busy the road is in front of the house. Also, the pillows and the mattresses were too firm for us. My back hurt each morning. I tried a different bed the following night. That mattress wasn't much better and I still didn't sleep any better with the amount of traffic outside the window in the middle of the night. The air conditioner and fan were both on, but the window waa not open. We ate dinner outside one night, but it was tough with the heavy traffic not far away. It's a very pretty house, I think that I would rather a more quiet location if we came back up.

Only one mattress was firm. I’m sorry you weren’t comfortable. That is the most important quality in a guest house and I believe the house in whole puts you in a relaxed mode. Thank you for coming.

Beautiful environment!
The backyard of the house is amazing and the house has everything. The only thing we didn't like was the cleanliness of the property. The beds were good but we had the feeling that the rest of the house was cleaned very quick and not thoroughly.

We take pride on the cleanliness of our house. We have 5 stars always on this. We have hardwood floors so you can see how clean it is and not dirt imbedded in rugs. The bathroom is always thoroughly cleaned . You didn’t give me a specific so I cannot comment on your observations. The pictures are how you see the house. CLEAN.

Adorable house
Sally’s home was perfect for my family! We arrived very late after traveling all day. The lights were on and the air conditioning and fans were going. There were plenty of towels and dishes for the 7 of us. She even left us 2 bottles of local wine! The location was close to the grocery store and close to my sisters house. It’s also an easy commute to the airport.

Such a charming home. The area is picturesque with farms and rolling hills. Falls are only 15-30 mins away. This was a perfect place to spend a few days away and unwind. Sally is a wonderful host and has made the house feel like a home away from home.

Super cute, exactly what we needed.
The house is spacious and comfortable with all the amenities you would need (with the exception of laundry) for a short or lengthy stay. It is very nicely renovated and you can tell a lot of care went into making the house feel homey. The owner is quick to answer questions and communicate information. She even left us a delicious dessert which I thought was a nice touch.

Great weekend getaway to celebrate and see some fall colors!
We had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful house! Everything we needed and more was supplied. The old games we found in the closet brought back lots of fun memories and a little family feuding on who had the directions correct! The beds were very comfortable and everything was so clean. It was the perfect place to celebrate an 18th birthday with family. We will definitely stay again.

The house is very cute; short drive to the Falls, Buffalo and plenty of wineries.
The house is put together very well. Plenty of sleeping options; full kitchen; large bathroom and a nice size patio where we worked out a couple times during our stay. Sally was a good host! She was accessible and makes a really tasty banana bread! The house is located about 20-25 minutes from the Falls and about 35-40 minutes from Buffalo. We also found a great winery called Arrowhead just minutes away. Another huge plus. Downtown Lewiston is also very cute. Lots of restaurants, bars and a bake shop. There's a grocery store there as well as Artpark, an outdoor music venue. My only complaint would be that the house does not have central air. The first couple days were pretty hot so the bedroom area was unbearable during the day. Fortunately, through the use of fans, we were able to direct the cool air downstairs up to the bedrooms. Once the temps came down a little bit, the upstairs cooled off as well. Overall, a really good experience.

Thank you for the nice review and discussing the central air situation. This has been one of the hottest summers ever in our area so this being my first summer as a guest house, I had no way of knowing this would happen. I immediately bought a portable a/c to cool off the living area. There are fans in every room. We also are looking into getting A/C on the second floor.
