"Staff was very good and friendly. Hotel reminds me of the Winchester mystery house. Lots of turns and hallway angles. There is a bar with live music next door that was a little loud early evening. "

"This was an impromptu stay as we decided to add another night to our little trip up the coast. We were so surprised by all the amenities, including the glasses of wine, complementary at the bar/restaurant. We were also delighted at by the made to order breakfast. But overall, the best thing we found was the service which was so warm and gracious. We had spent the night in Solvang for over double price and yet this little gem was so inexpensive and yet had so much to offer. We also enjoyed dinner in the restaurant the evening of our check-in. We will definitely make this a regular stopping place on future trips."

"The place was very clean, spacious, plenty of towels and my room had all the amenities i.e. a small refrigerator, microwave, iron, ironing board, hair drier. And I loved the double sided mirror by the sink and the full size mirror on the bathroom door. It allowed all 4 of us to waste no time in getting ready. The front desk gals were very nice and suggested places to visit and eating spots outside the strip. I would definitely stay here again."

"The room was big and spacious. Everything was very clean. The bed was comfortable—big bathroom and lots of hot water for the shower. Free coffee in the lobby. It's a very good bargain. On the downside, they say the pool and gym were closed due to COVID. This is 2025, hard to believe, I think they just don't have the money to fix it. The place is old but they keep it up pretty well. A shoutout to Tracy at reception for finding me a ground-floor room. I'm an older guy, and my knees don't do stairs very well. Not to mention dragging my suitcase upstairs!"

"The staff was AMAZING! Everyone was soo nice. We stayed in the original wing of the hotel and our room was decent. We had breakfast at their restaurant down stairs and it was delicious."
