"The 4 star rating is for my impression when asking about the property in general on a few questions. I was in a room towards the very end of the building right where the trash is doing what trash does. But there’s a lot of trash, food on paper plates anything the sea gulls like, which is pretty much everything. Big eyesore and after pickers at night go through the containers there’s crap all over that area. I know it’s hard to get anyone to really deal with that, but there you go. The reasons for my 4’s. Otherwise I highly recommend this hotel! I will be back as needed"

"Clean rooms. Friendly staff and we were able to get our room earlier because we let them know what time we were arriving. Location is right there on downtown Solvang. We were able to walk and explore without worrying for parking."

"It’s a beautiful property. Very retro and pretty. The fans in the bathroom stay on 24/7 which is a little loud and our mirror lights did not work. I also wish there was carpet on the floor but overall for the price it’s a great place."

"The staff is extremely responsive and makes sure guest's needs are met. I experienced a leak in the bathroom but it was handled within a couple of minutes and I was able to move rooms. The a/c is a bit tricky if you're in a room facing west but the overall cleanliness is certainly acceptable."

"A beautiful cozy little piece of heaven. Getting to wake up to the birds singing, water bouncing into the pond, while being surrounded by a garden of green damn near out of a movie . Check in was extremely quick and easy. Thank you for having us and definitely recommend to anyone tryin to get away and rejuvenate the mind !"
