“Check in was difficult with no internet on the property and no one at the motel office or available anywhere when we arrived at 4 pm. We later found the code for our room from the owners by driving for an internet connection in a nearby town. We were intimidated to return to the motel with no one there but did so and successfully accessed our room. The room was nicely appointed but we would have much preferred a welcome in person. Not kidding, notices about bear sightings didn’t help when we……

“There weren’t any filters for coffee in the room but there was coffee available early morning downstairs which was appreciated. We didn’t have any cups in the room either. It was chilly in the room and no way to warm it up. We ate at the restaurant and the waiter worked really hard to understand us which is appreciated. The food was good. There were little nats flying around our table which could be from doors being open. We are excited to return when the remodel is complete and are happy that……
