We had noted this on our reservation and they stated their office was open until midnight. When we arrived there was a note on the office door to call a number. “The property had been cleaned and was in reasonably good condition. There was an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke that really detracted from the positives. This was surprising because it was listed as a nonsmoking property. If you don’t mind the smell of cigarettes, then this is an economical and convenient place to spend the night.”

“The room was comfortable, but had a kind of musty smell. It would have been nice to be able to open the window. Excellent location and plenty of parking. It was clean but could have used new carpets and paint here and there. It would have been nice to have more information about the shared bathroom. It had 2 toilet stalls and 2 working shower stalls all in one unisex bathroom that was similar to what you might find in a college dormitory.”

“Check in was difficult with no internet on the property and no one at the motel office or available anywhere when we arrived at 4 pm. We later found the code for our room from the owners by driving for an internet connection in a nearby town. We were intimidated to return to the motel with no one there but did so and successfully accessed our room. The room was nicely appointed but we would have much preferred a welcome in person.
