I was really looking forward to this stay. We found an affordable, well-located, decent hotel with dining options, but we found much of it inaccessible, the building layout baffling, and the amount of HIDDEN FEES exasperating. Outside of the room rate and taxes, it was 60 dollars for valet with no options for self-parking, PLUS 30 dollars per day in resort fees--an additional 100 per night. The layout of the building was baffling. Move into another hotel for certain elevators, but go to the ground floor and outside to another entrance to access some of those areas. I was told repeatedly by staff members that certain venues were open and available, but when we found them, we were turned away (twice!), told we had to go back to our rooms (a full hotel and two elevators away) to make reservations. Another time, we were sent up to the 34th floor only to find services closed. Check-in was chaotic and LOUD. Getting the car out of Valet on the second morning (at 630 am) took a full hour. And there was no coffee in the hotel prior to 630/7 am, depending on when the shop opened. I wouldn't plan to stay again at this one.
