Great place!
This property was very clean. It appears to have been recently remodeled. It’s in a somewhat busy neighborhood so there was some car noise but that can’t be helped. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and highly recommend it.

Good location but very poor communication!
The pics look nice however the house needs a lot of useful items and atttention such as a chair in the bedrooms, a bench to put your luggage on, towels and wash cloths needed desperately.There were No washcloths so I had to go out and buy washcloths and a pillow! The bathrooms have no hooks or any cabinets to put your toiletries. So after a shower there is no place to put your wet towel. The towels were stained and thread bare. They definitely need descent towels and, wash cloths, and new sheets! We had issues with thermostat no instructions on how to use. We froze at night and it was hot during day time. I contacted host and it took him 3 days to send someone over! Very poor communication! We also had issues with the key to house sometimes we could not unlock or lock it without a struggle! Finally after 3 days someone came over to fix! Also no dish cloths or towels. Only plus to this place is location!!

Quick stay, great location!
We had a great stay here on our way to Grand Canyon. Close to sights in Hollywood and quiet neighborhood. Great place to call home for a couple days.

The property was amazing and truly a serene space for my family. Access to the space was straightforward and the location was centrally located to a variety of spots in LA. Loved the enclosed private outdoor space.

Modern and simple
We had a great stay. Quiet neighborhood for walks, close to restaurants and shops. Outdoor private seating area is great for some sunshine and relaxation. Open, simple, bright and provided just what you need. We would love to stay here again when we are back in this area.

Great location!
Chose this location to be close to the mid-City highlights including LACMA, Academy Museum, Peterson Museum and more. Close to Vons, CVS, Target too. Lots of street parking with no restrictions. Spacious home, very clean, great location. Looking forward to staying here again when next in LA!

Gorgeous New Home
This new home was perfect for my family’s stay. It was immaculately clean and furnished tastefully in an elegant minimalist style. The kitchen was well-supplied, the living room had an enormous TV, and the outdoor space was charming and beautifully furnished. It’s located in a lovely residential area. I’d highly recommend it!

Great house in lovely neighborhood
Serene Retreat is a great house in a quiet neighborhood. We had a relaxing weekend and enjoyed walks in the lovely neighborhood, admiring all the beautiful flowers! It is an easy walk to Target and Coffee Bean, as we had flown in and used Uber to travel the few miles needed to our events and the airport run. It was close to where we needed to be, so it worked very well for us. The house is newly renovated and all is clean and well kept, with a newly stocked beautiful kitchen. The patio area is welcoming and we loved sitting outside and chatting. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Serene Retreat and would be glad to stay again when the opportunity comes for us to return.

A Memorable Stay in a Wonderful LA Home
I would gladly return for another amazing stay, and am thankful for the gracious hospitality of our host. The home was set in a great location, very quiet neighborhood and a good distance away from major attractions that we needed to visit during our trip. It was easy to commute 15-20 mins to and from the house via car service. The neighborhood in general was peaceful, with no issues or noise pollution to worry about. The VRBO itself was truly beautiful, with everything our group required including a great wide open living space, useful washer/dryer and fantastic outdoor area creating a warm and inviting ambiance. The bedrooms were beautifully furnished and provided ample space for our belongings. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the bathrooms were large and clean, gratefully stocked with extra amenities. The combination of a peaceful setting, convenient location, and impeccable hospitality made it an unforgettable experience.
