The property was nice. We did not encounter any problems. Staff was great. Easy check in. I cannot believe the $75 parking charge though. That is uncalled for!!! Too much in my opinion for parking!!
This is my standard hotel whenever I fly into LAX and want a day or two to relax before I fly onto my final destination. Always bustling and exciting, immaculate, and staff very efficient and friendly. The only thing I can fault is the common complaint about the carpeting with stains in the hallways.
Front desk wasn’t the warmest. Looked like she didn’t want to be there. Room was clean and spacious but was quite warm when we walked in. Also, ice machine was out of order which was a bit of an inconvenience. Valet parking guy was awesome!

This property is wonderful. It is clean, has a great shuttle service, beautiful pool, minutes from the airport, and an incredible price especially for LA. I will be staying here again.

This is an excellent property.The rooms are large clean and comfortable.The staff are all super Wonderful.The reception staff are all super kind.
Great location close to the airport and the free hotel shuttle is very efficient even when busy.
Public transportation is close by to take you anywhere in LA
Manhattan beach is beautiful and close by.
First time at this Sheraton and I'll definitely come back and stay here again.

We arrived early from Australia and asked for an early check in which wasn't possible unless a fee was paid which we totally understood. We stored our bags at the hotel and went out for the day. On our arrival back we went to check in 15 minutes early but were advised by reception that we would have to pay $75 , obviously we waited the 15 minutes. I do understand about an early check in payment as cleaners would have to prioritise rooms and could alter cleaning runs but when the room is clean , ready to go and 15 minutes prior to normal check in i found this very rude and i feel more customer satisfaction could be managed. For such a large hotel group you need to have processes but any operating standard shows customer satisfaction is the key to success.

First 2 shuttles drove right by me at LAX even though I was waiting at the designated stop. Line to check in was 12 people deep at 8:30 PM and took 30 minutes, exhausting after a 15 hour flight. There’s no room service food. Couch and carpet in room look ages old and worn and filthy. The toilet paper can’t be reached from the toilet. Can hear the child next door crying. Not worth it.

Upon arrival in my room and through out my entire 3 night stay I was bullied. People I assume other employees who work there behind the scenes people you don’t see holding some type of electrical tools up to the ceiling underneath your feet when you stand and your entire body when you lay down that causes your feet to feel a burning sensation of pain. They also have other tools that feel like a bump bump bump underneath your body causing you to have 24 hours a day stress and causing you to lose sleep. They also followed me around the entire property upstairs downstairs and outside with their electrical tools being held up underneath me where ever I went. I call this being bullied. I spoke to the employee manager about this situation and all she said was do you want to check out. I give this property a negative 1 star rating. Do not stay at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel.

I love everything about this particular hotel. Only thing I could recommend is updated the carpet in the hallways. Some floors feel and smell like cheap Vegas hotels. Soiled carpet, carpet stretched out in the hallways.

Poor customer service from the front office manager during booking issue that almost left me without a room overnight. Employees should be more empathetic to customers instead of hiding behind doors and rules. The other women during checkin were helpful but couldn’t override anything their boss was saying or doing.

Nice hotel and great staff. Restaurant had nice selection of foods. Rooms were clean and quiet. Close enough to rental car place that we could drop or off and walk back to hotel.
Only downside was the construction work going on in the area but that is not forever.

I only stayed for a 12 hour layover after flying for 14 hours. It was very clean, quiet and felt secure. It made my last flight connection home more comfortable.
