A KENTUCKY COUNTRY HOME FOR TIME TOGETHER
If you’re the one choosing the house for everyone, you already know the challenge: finding one place where grandparents are comfortable, kids have plenty to do, teenagers actually come downstairs, and the adults can relax too.
That’s what Glencairn Knoll was made for.
Set on 3.75 private acres near Louisville, Glencairn Knoll is a beautifully updated 1958 Kentucky country home with the warmth and character of an established property, thoughtfully set up for the way families travel today.
Five king beds mean no bad room assignments. A main-level suite gives grandparents or anyone avoiding stairs an easy option. Two separate upstairs wings add privacy. And with a pool, covered hot tub, game rooms, karaoke, indoor play spaces, a large kitchen, and nearly four private acres, the house itself becomes part of the trip.
Children follow mystery clues and make snow cones. Teenagers head for the arcade or pool. Grandparents join the games. Someone who swore they wouldn’t sing ends up with the karaoke microphone.
And the person who planned it all gets to enjoy it too.

WHY IT WORKS FOR 12
Plenty of homes technically sleep 12. Glencairn Knoll was designed to make 12 people comfortable.
Ten guests sleep in five king beds across four spacious bedrooms. Two additional guests can use the queen sleeper sofa with an upgraded mattress in the separate Speakeasy Lounge.
The main-level primary suite has its own private bathroom.
Upstairs, the home divides into two wings, each served by its own full bathroom.
That means different generations and family units can stay under one roof without feeling on top of one another.
“Three families, each had their own ‘wing.’” — Monte

THE KIND OF LUXURY WE BELIEVE IN
Glencairn Knoll is a beautifully updated 1958 country home.
Its character is part of what we love about it.
This is not a precious house where everyone has to worry about touching anything. It’s made for real vacations—wet swimsuits, pancake breakfasts, cannonballs, grandchildren, dogs, karaoke, birthday cake, and conversations that run later than planned.
Polished enough to feel special. Relaxed enough to actually enjoy.
More than anything, Glencairn Knoll is a place for connection—a place to swim, laugh, cook, play, slow down, and enjoy the people you worked so hard to bring together.
Built for Joy. Made for Generations.
If your dates are available, we’d love to welcome your family or group.
