Quite even with being by the college, manager very helpful and friendly always smiling and greeting you, bed was a little hard to sleep on if you are used to a softer one other than that it was a nice stay

The property was clean. The staff was very friendly. Comfortable beds. Hot water with good pressure. Coffee and cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Fresh towels delivered to the room.

EXCELLENT!
Great hosts, great service, very clean room, owner/manager runs a tight ship which is well reflected in the overall condition and experience of the Super 8. Seasoned owner/manager/front desk on premises. Light breakfast in the morning with FRESH breads, fruit, coffee, etc. There is an excellent restaurant conveniently located next door called "Z's" with a fantastic array of breakfast and lunch menu items. Great food, good owners who take equal pride in their food and service and cleanliness...hours of operation are 6am to 2pm. These two places are an excellent place to stay and eat for the $$ compared to what you'd pay elsewhere in Macomb. I have traveled all over the world and would not hesitate to stay at the Super 8 by Wyndham again.

Nice Accommodations
I stayed 2 nights - friendly staff, clean & the room refrigerator was great with a separate freezer - great for longer stays. My only disappointment was the water was not hot - I tried it during different times of the day - lukewarm every time.

This hotel was convenient to Macomb, walkable to campus, but in a very quiet location.The gentleman working the front desk was helpful and kind and my room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was not great, but the price of the hotel was very reasonable, especially for how nice the room was. I would be happy to stay there again.

Overall, the property needs a refresh; very outdated. Our room had an offensive smell that I believe was associated with the AC unit. Smelled like mold. The carpet really needs to be cleaned (and replaced); felt sticky and I kept my shoes on most of the time. The back exit door on the first floor was broken and wouldn’t close, so security was compromised. Also, the front entrance to the building (to access rooms) had a security card reader, but the handle was taped open so guests wouldn’t need to use their security card to enter the building.

Friendly couple run the hotel. The room was quiet. Would have liked a smart tv rather than cable- otherwise a pleasant stay.

It is right at one of the entrances to Western, so it was a very easy walk to an electric car charger at the university. Great staff!

Nice, clean room, comfortable bed. We arrived late and left early so was perfect for what we needed. Did move to upstairs room as ground floor window didn’t lock. Front desk staff very nice and helped us change room with no problem.

A Place for a Night
Yes, this hotel is old and dated. You can’t expect too much out of it. However, they’re doing the best they can with what they have. It was exceptionally clean and everything was well maintained. The bed and linens were comfortable and freshly cleaned. The staff was quick and efficient and the check in and check out were very fast.

General Manager Patel could not have been more accommodating and helpful. Five stars for S.K. Patel!! This is an older motel showing it's age - cracked light shades and outlets. Nothing serious, but not what is expected from a Wyndham property. The Wyndham name is not prominent so possibly this is a recent acquisition which portends upgrades and polish could be on the way. Comfortable, with plenty of parking, and very convenient for those WIU weekends. Thumbs Up!!

Nice place for the money.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and sanitary. The sink area is outside of the bathroom, which I like. The bathroom is very small and, if you are a large person, you may not have enough room to sit on the toilet! The room was clean but, perhaps, a little too deodorized.

This is a nice no frills hotel. It does need some updating. The room was clean & the beds were a bit more firm than we like but it was fine for an overnight stop. Not much for breakfast though. The staff was very friendly. Would stay again
