Neighborhood Gem!
I've never stayed in this part of Madison before and what a treat it was! Loved that we had a cool neighborhood bar/pub, coffee shop/bakery AND a breakfast diner all within a block. Property was as advertised, well stocked, very convenient, lots of street parking right out front and on side street. We also appreciated that the cabinets were all marked for easy access to everything we could have possibly needed during the stay. The unit itself was quite comfortable and fairly quiet even being on a busier street. Will definitely be a go-to spot for future trips!

This property was really nice, great curb appeal, inside updated, very clean and cute. Beds comfortable, kitchen with all amenities and within 15 minutes of golfing, pickleball and State street. On-site street parking adequate. The owner responded to questions very quickly by phone. I would recommend this VRBO and come back again.

Perfect for us
Nicely remodeled home with first floor as VRBO. We really liked the location, so easy to get to and in quiet neighborhood. Nice sized living room, dining and kitchen area. Furnishings were first rate and in very good condition. Communication with Tim, property manager, was efficient and clear. It is an old home so bedrooms are small, storage is a bit of a challenge. That said, all was very nice, we very much enjoyed the stay. We’ll be back soon!

Special property, beautiful space and cool location.
Absolutely a great space! Welcoming, cozy, modern and we found ourselves wanting to spend time at the property, vs. being on the go entirely each day. We were there for four nights and found ourselves hanging in a bit, making dinner there, lighting a candle, watching a moving playing cards enjoy time together at the property.

This property exceeded our expectations. Meticulously clean, and so very comfortable. The decor is charming. The kitchen is well stocked with everything one would need for meal prep and storage. Great little neighborhood too.

Great location
Beautiful property, modern, well equipped and very clean property walkable within one block to the coffee shop, bakery and several bars yet in a nice quiet neighborhood. We took a quick drive into city to bike the Lake Loop. Great trip to Madison!

Great place, close to downtown and the airport
It’s a great little place in a great neighborhood. Very clean, very well appointed, and very comfortable and well decorated. The host (Tim) was very nice and communicative throughout our stay. There were problems with the thermostat when we arrived, he was very responsive and got it fixed early the next morning. The neighborhood is cute and very walkable, with nearby parks and places to eat, and just a short drive to downtown.

Nice place to stay!
Great place and location for a stay in Madison. Very nicely updated and very comfortable. The owners do live in the upstairs unit. This was not clear in the description. This did make it feel more like a bed and breakfast feel where you didn’t feel like you had the whole place and you can hear the upstairs movement/activity. We did stay with a pet. This lead to the cleaning fee plus the extra pet cleaning fee to cost as much as the rental fee. This was not clear upon our reservation. I’d suggest that part of the pet cleaning fee be refunded if there was no mess left. We left the unit super clean, with little to no dog hair. There was no reason for a high per night cleaning fee to be charged. Nice unit, but for a pet friendly unit the total end cost was not friendly.

Hey Andy! Thanks for staying in our home! Our cleaning fee is clearly stated prior to booking, as well as the pet fee. But we thank you for leaving our home in great condition! It is also stated that this is a duplex, in which you are renting the lower half. We do not live upstairs; however, we apologize your stay was disrupted by noise from upstairs. It is normally very quiet from the upstairs tenets, as they travel a lot for work. Thank you again for staying!

This property was excellent. Well appointed kitchen, two good beds and nice living room. The kitchen has sufficient space to prepare a meal but also a good sized table to enjoy your meal. Would highly recommend.

Nice place for UWisconsin visit
We had a great stay in Tim's place which was 10-15 minutes from the University. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen including tupperware and easy access to nearby bike and running trails, food options and groceries. Comfortable set-up for three people--parents and one teenager.
